Eric Hovde, U.S. Senator. America’s best insurance against a Kamala/Walz presidency is a Republican Senate. Even if it goes the other way, fewer Republicans will kowtow to Trump now that elections are over and they enjoy a majority. Tammy Baldwin is twin sister to Elizabeth Warren, just less annoying.
Erik Olsen, Congress District 2 over Mark Pocan, D-Hamas, the Midwest regional manager for A.O.C.’s Squad, whose numbers voters keep reducing.
Dane County District Attorney: Ismael Ozanne is unopposed. We’re writing in the name of the Verona high school disciplinarian that he unsuccessfully prosecuted, Corey Saffold.
Dane County Executive: None of the above. Melissa Agard and Dana Pellebon are Woke and Woker. Writing in Jeff Wiegand.
Referenda:
• Yes, only citizens can vote. (May be redundant but so what?)
• No to bailing out City of Madison with $22 million more in spending authority.
• No to permitting Madison’s public schools to exceed revenue caps by $100 million/year in perpetuity — and beyond.
• No to letting Madison public schools build $507 million worth of half-empty schools.

When I first heard the ballad of P-nut, I was unmoved. Who among us here in the northwoods has not put out a little anti-squirrel propaganda or played a game or two of Squirrel Ball? Having since read and seen more on the killing of P-nut (and Fred), I found myself more moved than I thought possible. That said, it’s just one more reason to vote for a smaller government. That’s really what the top of the ballot is all about.

The garbage truck metaphor does make sense if combined with J.D. Vance’s proclamation yesterday that Vice President Harris is “trash.” The orange Jesus had called Harris a “shit vice president” but didn’t link it to his truck (or orange vest).
A more apt metaphor is Chicken Trump. A macho-man loudmouth who is scared to appear on 60 Minutes or debate a smart Black woman.

Sporting a Red Hoodie (reflective of his political leanings), The Gotch sailed through Sequoya Library Polling Place ~an hour ago; no one in line. The place was positively PACKED with poll workers, and everyone was cheerful and in a good mood, unlike the narrative despicable Lefty’s been pushing.
Except for Register of Deeds (Kristi Chlebowski earned his vote by personally assisting him with numerous property transfers), he wrote in a choice for every other Lefty dominated position.
