‘Impossible for kids of color to be safe’

The Werkes has been applying a giant stethoscope to the hive at 125 S. Webster St., in the beating heart of progressive Madison WI. The hulking General Executive Facility #3 houses  the WI Department of Public Instruction.

DPI teaches, practices and promulgates critical race theory throughout the 422 school districts in Wisconsin. We offered a sampling of one course in our last thrilling episode. Get your mind right on the institutionally racist nature of this U.S.A. or hit the road.

Saints Rosenbaum & Huber

Befitting doctrinaire CRT, DPI worker bees are told what to think, direct from the boss lady herself. That would be Jill Underly, PhD, superintendent of public instruction. On the day the Kenosha jury unanimously found Kyle Rittenhouse not guilty. Superintendent Underly issued her manifesto:

“I am in disbelief in the outcome,” she told her 630 employees. “Like I know many of you are as well.” Or you had better pretend so.

This case is a blatant example of the injustice, Underly continues, “that we see in our communities, in our laws and policies, in our policing, and in our judicial system.”

Her all-employee e-mail then plays the race card, even though Rittenhouse and his three assailants were white. Clearly, Wisconsin’s superintendent of public instruction sides with sexual predator Joseph Rosenbaum, domestic abuser Anthony Huber, and communist agitator Gaige Grosskreutz.

“We know there are systems in place that make it impossible for adults and kids of color in our communities to be safe — we need to continue to use our collective power to correct that.”

Would that just one employee had typed “B.S.” and then hit “Reply All.”

To the fainting couch!

Jill Underly’s all-employee e-mail:

Jill Underly, Supt of public instruction

From: Underly, Jill K. DPI

Subject: A Message from State Superintendent Jill Underly

I had another message crafted for you, but that seemed inappropriate considering the Kyle Rittenhouse decision. I will be honest; I don’t know what to say. I am in disbelief in the outcome, like I know many of you are as well. At the same time, this is not surprising, given the polarized racial climate and the impact of several recent events — perpetuating a lack of value and safety across our systems….

We know there are systems in place that make it impossible for adults and kids of color in our communities to be safe – we need to continue to use our collective power to correct that. This case is a blatant example of the injustice that we see in our communities, in our laws and policies, in our policing, and in our judicial system. …

Moments like this can be jarring, and sadly, a reminder of the disparity that our employees and our children from marginalized communities experience daily. If you need any support or services, please don’t hesitate to use the agency’s Employee Assistance Program for guidance. …

That kind of institutional provocation is why a 17-year-old girl would attack an occupied police car downtown Tuesday 12-07-21. “The officer said the teen voiced her dislike for police as she approached the vehicle armed with a metal rod. The teen struck the squad car several times before trying to open the driver’s door.” (More here.)

Blaska’s Bottom LineSorry to say that electing Becky Kleefisch next fall won’t uproot Dr. Underly. This major state government agency uniquely is not represented at the governor’s cabinet table. We’re stuck with Underly until April 2025 because her position is elected in the supposedly non-partisan Spring election, when voter participation is poor.

Who should replace Underly?

In regards to the 17 year old that attacked the police car, looks like her dislike for police and the justice system has been demonstrated before, per circuit court access. No other comment necessary.

Perhaps some of the “woke “ bunch need to do jury duty. The jury must “ weigh the evidence on its own merit “. Feelings cannot determine the outcome of a trial. Perhaps some of the jurors were sympathetic to the 3 thugs who attacked Rittenhouse, but they knew that based on the facts presented to them, Kyle acted in self defense.
Serving on a jury is a great lesson in civics. I served on a jury in a civil case & still remember the instructions the judge gave us . Our decision had to be based on the facts ,not on how much sympathy we had for the plaintiff.
Too bad teachers aren’t teaching civics or government the way it was taught in earlier years.

Do you seriously think that a Madison liberal serving on a jury would feel bound to follow the rules of jurisprudence? They would take one look at the skin color of the defendant and apply the unwavering progressive formula: black=innocent; white=guilty.

My diagnosis is that like so many many low-flow, lockstep, Lefty lemmings, you’re suffering from a common Lefty wasting disease, … CRI, … “Cranial Rectal Inversion”.

I prescribe that you remove your head from your warm safe-space nethers, take off that stylin’ victimhoodie, pre-conceived notions of institutional racism, avoid all paternalistic proglobotic propaganda, and remove your myopic, industrial-strength, military weapons-grade, hardened ideological blinders. And rake off your homemade tin-foil headgear. It looks stupid.

You need to escape the 77 square miles of the proggy paradise of the glorious People’s Republic of Makistan, and go and personally visit successful schools. You need to face the failure of public schools, rein in the Teacher’s Unions, impose regular discipline, and allow some alternative educational opportunities: I.e., school choice, vouchers, STEM academies and other innovative learning .

We’re looking at you. For God ‘s sake, woman, … Do Something!

We all await the email Doc Underoos crafts to respond to whatever jury decision comes in the Juicy Smoliette hoax case.

No doubt DPI staff can expect to hear about how a gay, Black mediocre celebrity Tee-Vee character is subject to such horrible oppression in 2020’s America and Hollywood.

Our State needs to “do more work” to ensure that semi-celebrities like Juicy are permitted a couple free hoaxes in exchange for the Legacy of Slavery(TM) endured lo these 800 years by Juicy and Pre-Juicy.

It is arrogant of Underly to think that everyone thinks the same as she does and that such an email was even deemed necessary, but those are the times that we live in. Many people that I know of were upset by the verdict. I was not. I expected it. It was obvious that he was going to get off and anyone with two eyes could have seen that. Race had nothing to do with it.

I continue to be amazed at the things these woke imbeciles have said about the Rittenhouse verdict. This woman was shocked that the 17 year-old was not convicted of 1st degree Intentional homicide. Did he make some bad choices? Yes, and the dead guys made even worse ones. But bad choices does not translate to first degree murder. Why does no one question the gross over charge by the completely incompetent prosecutor? His strategy and tactics in court seemed designed to fail and he offered nothing to address his “intentions.”

Making bad choices also does not negate a person’s right to self defense when assaulted, nor should it. That’s something else Rittenhouse’s detractors are conveniently ignoring with all their weak “he had no reason to be there” arguments.

One reason assh*les like the prosecutor in the Rittenhouse trial keep doing what they do is that no matter how egregious their behavior, they are never held to account. Why isn’t he being recalled or at least censured? Same goes for the assh*le DA in Milwaukee who let the POS in the Waukesha massacre out on a pittance of a bail. Every time these outrages happen, there’s a day or two of sputtering and fuming, followed by business as usual.

The DA who let this perp out on low bail was in the Milwaukee County DA’s office, which is run by John Chisholm, Democrat. The Waukesha County DA is Republican Susan Opper, who set the perp’s bail for the homicides in the Waukesha parade at $5,000,000 so that he couldn’t get out easily once again as had been the case numerous times in Milwaukee County.

Wait a minute, Kenosha riots started because a turd of a human being whom happened to be of color, with long record of terrible convictions with a current restraining order broke that restraining order, resisted officers for him comply with restraining order. Then the ultimate kicker, he attempted to drive off armed and dangerous after violently resisting arrest. So by allowing this person of color of continue to act in this would keep which persons of color safe. We just saw in an extreme example in Waukesha where taking a liberal approach to law and order can lead. This ignoramus is the head of DPI., should be forced to resign effective immediately, liberals have lost their collective minds, the orange man bad broken them upstairs.

Rittenhouse did cause the death of two individuals and 1 critically injured. Prosecutors in the wake of so many high profile cases shot their wad at making an example of Rittenhouse but this time technology showed a set of facts that were not going to back up their case period. This is case is not over the esteemed Merrick Garland and his band of jackwagons will find a way to get their pound of flesh.

They’re crying over a child rapist! In an obvious case of self-defense that had absolutely nothing to do with race. I’m not sure if Underly and those like her actually believe the stupidity they spew, but either way, I don’t think they’re well.

The disease facing public schools runs deeper than just Underly and the Madison school board. There will have to be a much bigger outcry, especially from parents, if things are to change. In Wisconsin, at least, this is not happening. Even then, it will be tough, as there are forces, including those that are well-financed, trying to change the very foundation of this country.

If I had school age kids, I wouldn’t let them anywhere near public schools. Would make personal sacrifices to send my kids to parochial or private.

Would be a great time for the police union to speak out. Maybe do something to earn those union fees.

Barnes inappropriately sidled next to Michael Johnson to publicly celebrate the Derek Chauvin trial outcome. Is it too much to ask for him to actually speak out for his officers?

I would like to know why Jill Underly is allowed to send out a personal, in some ways hate-filled, email that has nothing to do with Dept. Of Public Instruction, and by extension, State of Wisconsin, business. The Rittenhouse case has nothing to do with education unless she was using the case as a teaching moment about our judicial system in our state and country without personal commentary. If a civil servant had sent this email on a State of Wisconsin email account and a State of Wisconsin owned computer, they could be subject to disciplinary measures. This email could be interpreted as misuse of State of Wisconsin / taxpayer funded resources. I wonder if the WI Legislature could publicly censure Underly since she can’t be fired.

Okay I gotta question for Jill.

What if Kyle Rittenhouse was a young 17 year old BLACK male who shot 3 white guys who were attacking him, killing two of them and wounding another?

Could you honestly explain, what if anything would be the difference between a white Kyle Rittenhouse defending his right to Life and a Black Kyle Rittenhouse defending His right to Life?

Totally inappropriate of an elected official and organizational leader to be pushing that crap. She bought into the lies that Kyle shot Black people. She is, intentionally or not, advocating for child rapists and career criminals to have the right to assault a teenager with deadly force.

She is an embarassment to our State and is beholden to ideological lies. I can’t stand her and her ilk, smug annoying liberal idiots who think they are smart when they are actually dumb.

How are urban schools in Wisconsin performing under her “leadership”? Cranking out marginalized students who can barely read or write. Pathetic!!!
