We say again: those who would subvert the Constitution in order to overturn an election are Republicans In Name Only.
Among the many fools and idiots who descended on Washington D.C. Wednesday 01-06-21 (a date that truly will live in infamy), some took down Old Glory and replaced it with a Trump flag. That is the perfect metaphor, is it not?
We had to destroy democracy, trample the Constitution in order to save one-man rule.
In the wake of Wednesday’s attempted putsch, a Fox News idiot named Brian Kilmeade told Martha McCallum that what Trump does over the next two weeks, his last in office, will determine whether he would be a political player in the years to come. No it doesn’t. Two weeks, two years — it’s over for Trump. You burn the Reichstadt and history renders a verdict of guilty. We hear there’s a vacant Air BnB on the island of St. Helena waiting for this guy.
What the poor man cannot understand is that he defeated himself. Not magical machines, not nefarious clerks, not judges blackmailed by Jeffrey Epstein (he really didn’t hang himself!). We said in our last post [Note the poster issued before the rally] that Trump was finished after brought down Georgia’s two Republican senators in this week’s run-off election. After encouraging Thursday’s riot is is persona non grata.
The irony is Trump short-circuited his own attempt to derail the election. An even greater irony, he made a hero of Mitt Romney, the only Republican who voted to convict in the impeachment trial. The indentured servants here at the Stately Manor remarked that it was unusual for a speech on the Senate floor to get a round of applause. But that august body did applaud — Democrats and Republicans. An excerpt:

Sen. Romney continues:

For any who remain insistent on an audit in order to satisfy the many people who believe that the election was stolen, I’d offer this perspective — no congressional audit is ever going to convince these voters, particularly when the president will continue to say that the election was stolen. The best way we could show respect for the voters who were upset is by telling them the truth!
We encourage you to also hear Lindsay Graham, one of Trump’s most loyal lieutenants and always entertaining! Must also admit, President-elect Joe Biden was good, too.
Blaska’s Bottom Line: Trump was scheduled to address the Republican National Committee today. That’s not going to happen. The man is persona non grata to everyone but Republicans In Name Only. There is talk of invoking the 25th Amendment.

What is the real difference between yesterday and last years’ “peaceful protests”? Only the location, and that one side is lauded by the media while the other side is not..

Now all we can look forward to is all of the trash in Washington being swept under the rug forever.

Two hours ago XRVision issued a statement saying the WashingtonTimes article was “outright false, misleading and defamatory.” There was NO military man. Their attorney sent them an order to cease/desist/retract and issue an apology. You should do the same. How easy you people are duped. How lazy that you don’t do a little research. If this helmet thing is such common knowledge: 1. why don’t the cops arrest them. 2. why don’t the trump felons grab them and turn them in. 3. why wear a white helmet so everyone knows who you are. Page me when they do it for 100 straight nights like in Portland. Or 2 months in 2011 in Wisconsin Capitol (which was “stormed” and “overrun” by thousands on the evening of March 9, 2011, including people busting thru locked doors and climbing through broken windows, after a legislative vote). Or how about thousands who stormed the US Senate building and occupied it during Brett Kavanagh’s US Supreme Court nomination.
I’m not impressed by yesterday at all. It was over after a few hours unlike the months of BLM riots all summer which were encouraged, excused, and explained.
It is terrible that unarmed young woman veteran was shot and killed yesterday by police, but since then I have heard countless “progressives” applaud that and say she had it coming for being present in the People’s House. I guess it’s cause for celebration as she’s white and maybe holds different viewpoints, so in those situations we don’t need to “say her name” or have 3 funerals for her or cancel NBA games.

I believe you were finished the day you voted for Donald Trump. Trump was finished the day he gave his inaugural address. Only the dimmest among us bought his anti-swamp rhetoric. He was there to make a stack of bucks needed to pay for his substantial debt and even more substantial legal bills, which are going to grow at an amazing rate.
