What would you say you do here?

The leader of the free world needs more sleep!

Since when is that a winning message?

Batteries NOT included

We’re old enough to remember how JFK pronounced the word “vigor” as “vig-ah,” a word he used often. At age 43, he was succeeding a war hero President leaving office at the advanced age of … 71! Seventy-one!

“Vigor” is a word forbidden to the current occupant of the White House, seeking a permission slip for a second four years, at age 81. Think about it! We’ve got a President who vows to get more sleep! Opposed by a twice-impeached former President convicted in criminal court and suspected of fomenting an insurrection!

Where have you gone, indeed, Joe DiMaggio?

[UPDATE: Well this blew up real quick based on Joe’s declaration at Mendota Middle school here in Madison this afternoon that he’s in it to stay:] We’re going to throw long here and predict that Joe Biden makes an announcement tonight on ABC television that he will not seek, nor will he accept …

The Democratic party won’t nominate Biden after what they saw on June 27, but more importantly what they have learned since. The President and his family were given several days’ grace after he humiliated himself — time they used to gaslight voters and donors while Biden read written remarks instead of actually demonstrating he has the mental and physical capacity to serve 4 ½ more years. — William Kristol et al, The Bulwark

 Unusual discipline

During his presidency, Donald Trump could not avoid stepping on his own stories. Showing rare discipline, he has refrained from announcing his vice presidential choice, which would draw attention away from the Biden campaign death watch. Not since the collapse of the Twin Towers has video footage been replayed more often than the President of the United States getting lost in the weeds of his own verbiage, vacantly staring off into the distance, mouth agape.

Act 10 is NOT an equal rights issue

State job classification is not a protected class like race, religion, or national origin. The State of Wisconsin has full discretion over which government employee classes it wishes to bargain with and how. Neither is Dane County Judge Jacob Frost’s ruling a crushing blow to Act 10 as the headlines scream. Big deal if full bargaining rights are extended to conservation officers and jailers as well as firefighters and police, who are currently exempted from the restrictions of Act 10. As long as classroom teachers and office cubicle dwellers remain covered by Act 10. Especially, Wisconsin’s 60,000 K-12 teachers, who long had held parents hostage and cowed local school boards in their bid to drive up spending.

Madison WI and the surrounding farm fields are sodden with this summer’s constant rain. So wet it washed out the atrazine. Drones are re-applying the weed killer from above because equipment can’t get in the muddy fields.

Blaska’s Bottom Line:

Think State Supreme Court races aren’t important?

Can’t we all use good sleep. Biden can no longer (or ever) govern.
As to Act 10, this little punk judge needs to look for another job.

Atrazine?! Haven’t used that in decades, was banned in most of Dane County years ago…leached into the ground water. Who needs that now that we’ve got PFAS?! ‘)

Oh, come on man. It’s so interesting to see how the left ( far left ) relates to all subjects. Always get a laugh out of how he and Gotch go back and forth.

Please note: The Gotch has neither engaged, nor directly responded to, the idiot in question since ~ 09/22/2023.

And you get a laugh out of ‘nadless, flaccidly enfeebled septuagenarians making threats of bodily injury?

Thank god. Dick was kinda funny at first but it’s become tedious as hell. I don’t always agree with you Squire although mostly I do but I do appreciate this forum and how you manage it.

No surprise. Doxxing is a tactic used almost exclusively by leftists willing to use violence and intimidation to get what they want.

And this on the heels of 2023’s May-June rainfall being the 6th least EVAH!

While The Gotchberg Organic Farm And Lefty Conversion Therapy Emporium ain’t complaining, the garden hoses are gathering cobwebs.

      Glass half full?

The Garlic formed scapes two (2) weeks earlier than the rolling average of June 15th, and test pulls indicate an off the charts crop.

Some of the Tomato Plants are above their 58″/1.47m cages, and the Monster Guido, Kellogg’s Breakfast, King Kong, Big Bubba, Big Lou, and Big Zac hybrid are taller than 6’/1.83m.

I’m suddenly craving a big, fat, sweet juicy tomato sandwich on thick white bread sprinkled with a little salt and slathered with mayo. Washed down with a nice tall Pilsner glass of amber ale. Time to drop my phone, get off the couch and go grocery shopping.

Thick slices recommended, juicy Tomatoes destroy breads not up to the task.

It’ll be a couple/three (3) weeks before the 1st ripe ones come in from our 61 plants/45 varieties, but we have beau coup fruits growing as we speak.

‘Til then Metro Market and Woodman’s have a marvelous selection of vine-ripened Heirlooms, with the former being the cheapest ($3.49/lb.)

Ever consider adding sprouts, thinly sliced Wautoma Heirloom Cukes (got a couple hanging on vines right now), Sweet Onion, Parris Island Romaine, or Lettuce Leaf Basil to that there Summer Samitch (sic)?

Wondering (aloud) if the NO artwork. Will be edited edict includes pictures of prized produce.

I for one am completely reassured and confident, now that I know the President will be in bed by 8 PM each night. We just have to make sure that if anything consequential happens, it happens between 10 AM and 4 PM EDT, during his good hours.

Sheesh! DementiaJoKe can’t even remember if he WATCHED_THE_DEBATE???

    It gets worse:

To his credit, Staphylococcus (an errand boy…sent by grocery clerks…to collect a bill) gave no quarter during his ABC interview.

Et tu, Staphylococcus…more to the point, does this smack of a Clintonista Hit Job…?

    We live in interesting times!

The Dems are losing donors and constituencies because of Biden at the helm; his poll numbers are sinking fast. Dem party operatives must be mightily attempting to persuade President Biden to resign. It’s a painful spectacle.

Trump would win the general Presidential if the election were held today. The only people who showed at Biden’s Sherman Middle School rally yesterday were a few pro-Palestinian protesters and those urging Joe to leave the race, plus some supporters. Senator Tammy Baldwin was on the campaign trail.

The Democratic Party is endangered. Operatives and pundits have known this for awhile. IMO the President will resign before the Dem Convention, which is the point of no return at which strong candidates can be brokered.

Will the final match-up be between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump?
