Will Wisconsin embarrass Trump?

In today’s primary election?

Pulled the tarp off our Eisenhower-era mainframe computer and fed its biomass digester with crusty, year-old Peeps and gaily painted hard-boiled egg shells. Ol’ Sparky coughed acrid blue smoke before spitting out today’s Wisconsin primary election predix:

Donald Trump will garner less than three-fourths of the Republican vote, a huge embarrassment to the part-time Bible peddler. Over on the Democrat(ic) side, “Uninstructed” — the none-of-the-above ballot option — will collect under 5%, despite the pleadings of the pro-Hamas, John Nichols wing of the party.

At least 70% of Wisconsin will vote yes on the two statewide referenda banning Zuckerbucks and private election workers in running our elections, despite opposition from every Democrat and their enablers (looking at you, Capital Times)!

On the two most hotly contested Dane County Board races, chairman Patrick Miles out of McFarland and incumbent Jeff Weigand in Marshall will prevail, but narrowly. Platinum-subscriber bonus prediction: Conservatives will pick up a second seat either in Cross Plains or DeForest.

Milwaukee schools want more $$$

Although both are Democrat(ic) redoubts, Madison is more coffee shop and drag story hour to Milwaukee’s shot and a beer mentality. Even so, the results of a school referendum in Brewtown might be instructive.

Milwaukee voters will decide whether to throw another $252 million over four years at their property tax levy-limited public schools. Madison’s schools threaten to do the same as early as this autumn for an amount likely to be determined next month. Possibly the City of Madison, as well! Never mind that four years ago, Madison voters approved a $33 million school operating referendum and another $317 million for infrastructure. (It’s never enough, is it?) Milwaukee’s business community — in contrast to MadTown’s docile bunch — are tired of paying more and more for ever worsening results.

“The business community is simply asking: ‘If we’re going to invest over a quarter of a billion dollars, what’s the plan?’,” business community leader Dale Kooyenga told WTMJ-TV in Milwaukee. “And there is no plan.” Ol’ Sparky predicts a No Vote in Milwaukee.

Blaska’s Bottom Line: We waited to vote until Election Day, as the Good Lord intended.
