Madison brawlers are ‘expressing themselves’

‘… So they act out.’

And then there was one. The only candidate left standing to be the City of Madison’s first independent police monitor is more Woke than the taste tester at Maxwell House. A second finalist dropped out, so it’s down to Byron Bishop, who’s already in the grievance trade as manager of the city’s Civil Rights Equal Opportunities division.

Lord of the Flies

High school students as young as age 13 are stealing and wrecking cars, parents with clubs are joining their kids in schoolyard brawls, and students already up for felonies bring loaded weapons to school. But police are the problem! Mr. Bishop tells the WI State Journal why. It’s not Covid 19, it’s not global climate change or even Angry Birds. It’s the whole darn justice system!

“Our younger generations are expressing themselves by displaying their anger, their bitterness and their rage for this historic system of injustice they keep seeing regarding law enforcement. So they act out. They’re acting out.”

That’s pretty much what Donald Trump said when he excused the horned QAnon shaman and various Proud Boys and Oath Keepers from going after Mike Pence with a noose. By that standard, Darrell Brooks was acting out at Waukesha’s Christmas parade. He was acting out! Mr. Bishop so far has survived being voted off the island from among 12 applicants for a job that pays $125,000 a year! Nice soft landing! The governor of Wisconsin only makes $152,756!

•   Wisconsin Lieutenant Governor and U.S. Senate candidate Mandela Barnes proposed legislation to eliminate cash bail back when he served in the Wisconsin State Assembly. (More at Wisconsin Right Now.)

•   Michael Smerconish, Chris Cuomo’s replacement on CNN, is actually talking about the epidemic of crime. Like this podcast: “The rise of progressive prosecutors and crime.”

•   San Francisco’s Woke district attorney Chesa Boudin faces a recall election next June. Over 83,000 signed the recall petition — 31,000 more than needed. The City by the Bay is one of the most dangerous places in America. (Source here.)

Can you say ‘Boondoggle’? Blaska is challenging the validity of the Civilian Police Oversight Board in court. We take depositions next month. We said from the get-go that these second-guessers were a problem in lieu of a solution.

Blaska’s Bottom Line: That’s how we express OUR anger. We’re acting out in courts of law and at the ballot box! We’re acting out!

Does it surprise anyone that a bogus job (independent police monitor) is being filled by a fanatical left-wing ideologue? Or that the salary of said bogus job is astronomical? It’s called the Madison Way. Bishop’s explanation for the local crime wave is laughable, particularly as it assumes that the perpetrators know enough about history to recognize the alleged “historic system of injustice” at the heart of the bogus theories which people like Mr. Bishop use to browbeat guilty white liberals into giving them cushy lifetime jobs. I wish some of these rage-filled youth would set their sights on Mr. Bishop’s Lexus (or Audi or Mercedes) so we could see the sort of adjustments he might need to make in his crackpot theories to accommodate such behavior.

    No surprises here, Gary.

When the criticisms start coming, don’t hold your breath waiting for Chief Barnes, anyone in a police leadership position, or the police union to push back. They’ll sit back and take it. May even be persuaded to take a knee.

Well, CNN’s ratings are in the toilet. Maybe they’re rebranding themselves yet again.

You know the difference between the Titanic and XiNN?
TheTitanic sank with all it’s anchors onboard. Voofda!

D卐M☭CRATS just don’t get it. They want us to believe the rise in criminality is about guns, racism and so-called “root causes”, when in fact it’s about culture, cops, and crime & punishment. Through rampant crime, unsafe schools, dangerous streets, looted stores, and arson, Demonrat-run chit-hole cities are bearing the fruit of their soft-on-crime ideology.
They’ll reap what they’ve sown. Karma.

We elect public officials to protect us. When they fail to do so and instead side with criminals, when they defund law enforcement and release convicted criminals to prey on us, what do you expect regular, normal law-abiding Americans will do? I don’t want to be the next Kyle Rittenhouse, but like Kyle, I WILL defend my community, my home/property, my family and myself.

Trump’s strong populist policies gave us full employment, a strong economy, plentiful oil and gas, secure borders, low inflation and a stable society. W always at each other’s throats. Under Zhou Bai-Din, that’s all gone now, replaced by soaring crime rates, domestic totalitarianism, international instability, and a continuing, manufactured and media-whipped hysteria over the “panDEMic”, (the word ‘Dem’ surrounded by the word “panic”), as we enter the malaise that Biden promised.

It’s gotten bad out there and under this regime it’s getting worse.
So what are we going to do about it?

Proglobots are always playing identity politics,
but they’re not playing with a full deck.

Rising crime doesn’t play in Peoria. In spite of 12 Democrat-run cities setting new murder records, Lefties deny there’s any spike in crime. Who are you going to believe, … lying Lefties or your own lyin’ eyes?

Lefties are sick puppies. Leftyism a just MENTAL illness, it’s a MORAL disorder, as well. This isn’t merely just my opinion, because contrary to risible relativist bunkum, … morality is not mere opinion. It actually is “settled science”. Its elements were long ago defined. Having good moral and ethics are known as “virtues”: charity, chastity, courage, diligence, discipline, faith, forgiveness, fortitude, hope, honesty, humility, justice, kindness, prudence, patience, temperance and love. Bill Bennett, Reagan’s Secretary of Education, wrote an entire book on the subject:
    “The Book Of Virtues”.

I reference it often. Please realize, we don’t have to reinvent the wheel. We have a wealth of tried-and-true virtuous examples from which to draw, …. Life lessons that all schools, homes and churches once traditionally lived, shared and taught to shape our children’s character.
Teach your children well. Adios. … Go With God.

    • Good Dog, Happy Man says:

D卐M☭CRAT-run chit hole cites where abortion is common are the same places where the murder rates are the highest. There’s a direct correlation between violence and abortion. Abortion IS violence, and once you legalize violence, you get more of it.

We’re reaping what Lefties have sewn by devaluing Human Life. The tragic consequence of the devaluation of human life is the pervasive culture of death. When our political leaders legalize/rationalize the murder of innocent unborn children, can anyone really be surprised when murder becomes mundane?

D卐M☭CRATS, …the party of Death, the Devil and the Devil’s own donkey.
      This is most certainly true.

        Just remember “BIRDS AREN’T REAL”

      • David Gerard says:

The party of death. When murder becomes mundane. You need to get out more.

To say that someone is killing Republicans and Trump supporters in this country sounds like a conspiracy theory gone crazy. But the evidence is overwhelming.

People in counties that voted for Donald Trump in 2020 are dying at much higher rates from COVID-19 than people who live in counties that voted for Joe Biden. Since May 2021, people living in counties that voted heavily for Donald Trump during the last presidential election have been nearly three times as likely to die from COVID-19 as those who live in areas that went for now-President Biden. People living in counties that went 60% or higher for Trump in November 2020 had 2.7 times the death rates of those that went for Biden. Counties with an even higher share of the vote for Trump saw higher COVID-19 mortality rates.

The death cult continues. So many body bags, so many funerals.

        • Good Dog, Happy Man says:

          Mr. Gerard,

Thanks for your astute analysis. I’m happy your tribe has escaped the ravages of the Peking Lung AIDS. If only you’d escape another Leftist wasting disease, … TDS.

It must be because Lefties are not only immune to The Truth,
… you’re immune to the Wuhoo Flu, too. That’s great, mano.

Your (light rail) train of thought must’ve gotten derailed though. You switched and the little engine that could took a hard Left into the la-la land yard, got sidetracked and then regurgitated some proglobotic talking point. But it’s all good. It gives me the chance to share a piece I promised I’d share. FYEE, For Your Enjoyment and Edification:

H/T: Batman, (aka: JJ, @HeLives, FOG).

          I’m not anti-vaxx, I took the Fauci-ouchie, but I AM anti-mandate. Pretty simple concept.
One, even a Lefty blinded by his myopic ideological pinko lenses could see.

        • A Voice in the Wilderness says:

What’s killing Republicans and Trump supporters? Not bothering to get vaccinated could be part of the problem. “Red” states have reported a low vaccination rate. Along with easy variant transmissibility, ignoring mask mandates and obesity, this spells severe illness and death. So yes, some people must have a death wish. They should quarantine and keep the virus to themselves.

        • Good Dog, Happy Man says:

You said, “They should quarantine and keep the virus to themselves.”

Holy Buckets! Really? Show me David Horowitz was right, “Inside every progressive, there’s a totalitarian control-freak fascist just dying to escape.”

That’s some real Branch Covidian progressive thinking you have there, Voice. Did you also advocate for all homosexuals and intravenous drug users to be quarantined during the AIDS epidemic? You know, … to stop the spread and everything.

Who else should’ve been quarantined and rights taken away?

All Japanese citizens during WWII? All Muslims after 911? Antifa?
BLMers who acted out Burning, Looting and Murdering?
American Indians who shared smallpox-infected blankets?

Ronald Reagan said it better, “It’s not that Lefties are stupid, it’s just that they know so much that isn’t true.” Of course, he was much kinder and more gentle than I’m. I don’t suffer fools very easily anymore.

Mr. Blaska writes, “We said from the get-go that these second-guessers were a problem in lieu of a solution.” Yepper -check this quote from the WSJ piece:

“Bishop, former VP of the city’s Police and Fire Commission, (!), said police have varied duties, from catching criminals to making “people feel good in our community about what they’re doing.”

“But here’s the thing,” he said. “The question really is how do we go about balancing all of those things that they do in all of the work that they do in making a community feel protected and feel safe about what they’re doing?”

Bishop has a charmingly imprecise manner of getting to NO POINT whatsoever.. .

Marko, I shared a trauma like this with Juicey Small-yay.
You might even say, “i share his pain.”

I was down on State Street and was beaten by six man-bunned Pajama Proud Boyz.
They put skinny jeans around my neck, threw soy lattes all over me, and then they put a mask over my face and yelled, “This is Fauci Country!”

It was horrifying. Honest Injun. Cross my heart.
(and my fingers behind my back).

Four Hawaiian-shirted frat boys were “expressing themselves” when they lit Althea Bernstein on fire at Gilman and State,

The first priority of Mr. Bishop and the Police Oversight Board (right after they secure undeserved honorariums for themselves) should be to find out why Madison Police never charged the frat boys. Mayor Satya, Brandi, M, Amelia, Tag and I want justice for this grievous hate crime.

In the 19th century, we had to depend on others to be liberated. This time we have to do it ourselves. Will we? ”
