The city of Alexandria VA is reinstating school resource police officers after their schools turned into Afghanistan without them.
“Our students are sending us warning shots, literally warning shots,” the high school principal said. “Please reconsider [their removal]. My staff, my students. We’re not okay.”

Like Madison WI, Alexandria succumbed to the progressive/BLM/Antifa call for defunding the police. Tried to make up for it by hiring $800,000 worth of mental health counselors. Now the school that removed police is wracked with fighting.
In Milwaukee WI, the policy to suspend fewer black students has led to more students feeling less safe in their schools, the Wisconsin Institute for Law & Liberty reports.
In Madison WI students walked out of East high school protesting that a suspected sexual assailant of a fellow student remains free to walk the halls. (Read & weep.)

In Loudoun County VA, Remember seeing video of that father forcibly restrained at a school board meeting? Turns out dad was vexed that a boy wearing a skirt entered the girls bathroom and sexually assaulted his daughter. Yeah, that might set me off, too.

Hearing the death knell for progressivism, John Nichols insists CRT is not being taught in kids’ schools. If it ain’t being taught, it sure as hell is being practiced! Mix in some transgenderism and no face mask can protect Democrats from an electoral reckoning.

In the past 120 years or so, Democrats have held fast to the notion that we CAN have our cake and eat it too. That have religiously rejected the entire notion of tradeoffs. Jonah Goldberg put it this way a few years ago, writing about Democrats and competing economic choices:
“They believe that all good things can go together and that anything suggesting otherwise is a false choice.
Listen to Democratic politicians when they wax righteous about social policy. Invariably it goes something like this: “’I simply reject the notion that in a good society X should have to come at the expense of Y.’ X can be security and Y can be civil liberties. But suddenly, the only way to pay for leftist dreams is to do so at the expense of police departments. This is truly insane. They say they want to attack the “root causes” of crime. As if they have that nailed down. What arrogance. Every single program they have cooked up to reduce crime is a long term, maybe-this-will-work scheme that would take decades to have any actual effect, if it ever does. What do we do in the meantime? Well we can legalize shoplifting and car theft. We’re almost there anyway.
Last week two men driving a stolen car, hijacked a 2nd car at gun point, and fled the area. According to reports these perps were spotted multiple times throughout Madison, and later on in Janesville. In each case pursuits were begun and then terminated “for safety reasons.” Now I could understand if this were just a speeder, or petty criminal. But this was robbery, at gunpoint, of a woman in her driveway!

Exactly. And the thing about these programs is that there’s no way to actually tell if they’re working or not. The leftists don’t explain how they will measure successes and failures. We just have to take them at their word, and if you dare to ask questions, you’re a “racist”,

MPD needs to create an elite pursuit branch composed of officers who possess the skills to catch and subdue these carjackers. Let the roly poly cops concentrate on directing traffic.

You have to wonder about the 36 or so percent who think Biden is doing a good job. Do they not see that our country is in the midst of several crises? Or do they see it but hate Republicans & Trump so much that they’d rather the country be destroyed?
