We are done with kumbaya jokes about naive Madison liberals, their nuclear-free zones and backyard chickens. The hard Left walked off with their podium a few elections ago. Dane County Democrats have gone the way of the Whigs and pocket change. Not sufficiently anti-cop. No place for Dave Cieslewicz, the former mayor. Dane Dems are not Defund Police, Derail the Jail, Cops Out of Schools. For that ninth circle of Hate, you need Progressive Dane. Nine of the 20 alders are PD; more vote with them. So is the mayor.
Now, it turns out, even Progressive Dane is not vicious enough. Their bullhorn batteries are weak. Their marches lame. Worse, they’re too White!

Elmikashfi and Hong endorse Brandi Grayson for Madison alder. Because the incumbent, Ald. Sheri Carter, is not Black enough. Go figure. So do alders Tag Evers, Rebecca Kemble, Arvina Martin, Shiva Bidar, Mad Max Prestigiacomo, Grant Foster and former Ald. Donna Moreland (now resident in Gov. Evers cabinet).
Megan Berge is on board. “I was involved with Dane Dems and Progressive Dane in my 20s. Because of the misogyny and objectification of women I completely dropped out and was disillusioned by local politics. … I am so glad to see the involvement of truly progressive, radical BBIPOC folx and womxn in local politics right now.” Yeah, that’s how she spells.
Blaska’s BottomLine: Elmikashfi is backing David Hoffert who is challenging Ald. Tag Evers in the Monroe-Dudgeon neighborhood. Sorry, Tag, you’re not progressive enough. It happens.

Evers is a total incompetent. The executive branch is supposed to and get stuff done. He is slower than molasses in January on the vaccine and effed up unemployment for nearly a full year. Is he still blaming Trump for his own administration’s incompetence?
As for the usual riots in Seattle and Portland yesterday, no national rending of garments about THAT. It’s just the usual far-left anarchists who love to destroy and tear down. Marxist is as Marxist does. I’m sure the TDS sufferers will blame the former president for all of it per usual. They are going to see Trump around every corner and behind every tree for all their days.

In order for the executive branch to get stuff done they need the legislature. In the last 12 months you can measure the amount of work they did in hours. The unemployment sytem is outdated. That was the reason for the special session. To fix it. It took Vos less than a minute to “eff” that up and get back to making popcorn. It’s time to fix this gerrymandered state and get rid of these fools.

Nevers finally fired the guy in charge of the unemployment fiasco for incompetence. Nobody was even answering the phones. were those outdated too? Was Tony in the dark for 6 months until his appointee got the boat? Let’s talk about Never’s dismal record of getting the Covid poison shot into arms. They have 100K doses sitting around. Even podunk West Virginny has a 25% rate. What’s Tony’s excuse? How long did they have to plan for administering this out quickly? Maybe this a failure of designee Palm? Tony offers no straight forth answers. Orange Man is gone. What shadow man will Tony blame now? It’s his watch. And where’s Mandela been? Can’t he be trained to pick up a phone and type on some keys? All hands on deck but the crew are lowering the lifeboats.

Assembly and Senate aren’t in session. They can’t spend money and make bad laws. Win Win for us.
