Trump will go to Kenosha!

Liberal heads, they are exploding!

will he wade ashore like MacArthur at Luzon?

Dwight D. Eisenhower, the victorious general of the war against fascism, vowed during the Presidential campaign of 1952 that he would go to Korea — which was then embroiled in a quagmire that would presage Vietnam.

In something of the same spirit, Donald J. Trump will go to Kenosha, Tuesday (09-01-2020). The Werkes will acknowledge the visit IS provocative. Certainly, Democrats like Gov. Tony Evers are provoked. (“Don’t come to Kenosha.”) Then again, everything provokes progressives. But Kenosha didn’t go all kerflooie because of Trump.

The President of the United States is visiting an American city. Imagine that!

George W. Bush caught hell from the liberal media for not wading through New Orleans in the immediate aftermath of Hurricane Katrina. Today, parts of Kenosha WI resemble Dresden after WW2, Detroit in 1968 — which has yet to recover from those riots. Madison’s Capitol Square and State Street may not fully recover for years, either.

Donald J. Trump is planting the flag. He will bring with him plenty of protection. And FEMA. The President is reclaiming the streets. To rebuild. But you can’t rebuild without stopping the organized and coordinated hooliganism. Trump is demonstrating that without peace there can be no justice. That so-called “peaceful protests” lead to smashing and burning, which in turn leads to body counts. Trump’s message IS provocative: This nonsense stops now.

Who is stoking fear?

Another one bit the dust in Portland Saturday 08-29-2020, this time likely a Trump supporter. (More here.) Just the day before, its mayor dissed the President’s offer of help. “We don’t need your politics of division and demagoguery,” Ted Wheeler said. Someone please send the mayor a mirror.

The President is making a statement that resonates with the people of America. THAT is what stings — like holy water on Old Beezlebub — our liberal-progressive-socialist acquaintances during this election season.

Trump is stoking “fear,” according to the Resistance News Media (which includes the Associated Press). The Werkes would say harassment of diners with baseball bats and bullhorns, burned out car lots, looted sporting goods stores, boarded up restaurants, et cetera are what stokes fear. Some would say there’s a straight line between the riots and the demonization of law enforcement. (The Werkes does say that.) Which in turn leads to the running shootouts in cities from Oakland to Milwaukee to New York.  (another one in the Madison area Sunday 08-30-2020). Innocents have already died.

“The use of white fear and white victimhood as potent political weapons is as old as the country itself. Donald Trump is just the latest practitioner of this trade,” says Charles Blow of the Resistance NY Times. Blow, of course, subscribes to the Times’ America Was Never Great Myth of 1619. “Even the Founding Fathers used white fear of the ‘other’ for political benefit,” Blow blows.

Blaska’s Bottom LineProgressive mayors like Satya Rhodes Conway in Madison and Ted Wheeler in Portland have permitted — even caused — more havoc than Donald Trump.

Do YOU think Trump should go to Kenosha?
(and maybe a side trip to Mickie’s Dairy Bar in Madison?)

If the Mayor of Kenosha wants $3 Million for the city then DJT has and must come see the damage. No blank checks.

I want to remind everybody what the calming words that Tony Evers used to lead by example and make sure that cooler heads prevailed in Kenosha:

“While we do not have all of the details yet, what we know for certain is that he is not the first Black man or person to have been shot or injured or mercilessly killed at the hands of individuals in law enforcement in our state or our country.”

Allow me to translate: “I have no idea what happened in Kenosha, and I do not know what I’m talking about, but I know a political opportunity when I see one. Ready! Fire! Aim!”

And what a calming effect he had. 102 people out of the 175 arrested during the RIOTS, had out of town addresses. 45 different cities. So who’s words drew them to Kenosha? Not Donald Trump’s.

Having now set the table for the riot, he continued with tweets condemning the cops. It was only after it had turned into a full blown riot that he asked for peace and calm. Then, not wanting Trump to look like he is helping, he proudly turned down more troops that were offered. “Nope, don’t need them, we’re doing just fine thank you!” It only took two shooting deaths to turn that around. Nice job Tony. At least when he speaks about what not to do, he is speaking from experience.

Didn’t Evers (aka Mr. Peepers) provote and incite the riot minutes after the guy was shot? Of course he does not want his handy work displayed on the national news, let alone across the state. Particular since he called out the Guard, way to late and too few numbers.

I think the President should visit Madison as well. A nice motorcade down State Street and around the Square.

Trump’s next stop shoud be Portland. Then Seattle, then San Francisco, where he could lead a mostly peaceful protest in front of Nancy Pelosi’s Pacific Heights mansion. So what if it turns a little “fiery”? The media are apparently OK with that.

As soon as I read our governor’s weasel- toned letter asking President Trump not to come to Kenosha, I knew he would come.
Will Tony the Timid go to Kenosha or hide under his bed?

Good leadership, like Robin Vos exhibits, is thoughtful and deliberate, taking the time to hear different opinions and formulate a complete plan before taking action. Poor leadership, like Tony Evers exhibits is rash, hurried, and swings from one extreme to another like a branch in a strong wind.

Then you better “shun” me. “Thoughtful and deliberate” my a#@. Cowardly and deliberate is more like it. Sit back, do nothing and then claim it’s not his fault. It’s time to toss the Goobers On Parade out of office.

I want President Trump to come to Kenosha as I just don’t get what all the fuss about him coming is. So one black guy in Kenosha who fought with the Police, was holding a knife in his hand, who was reaching into a car to get something is shot by the Police as they had every reason to think he might be going for a weapon more powerful than a knife. (Oh, and did I mention he has a rather lengthy criminal record that includes charges of rape, domestic abuse, threatening people with a gun and so on.)
I know BLM has been trying to make this incident into another example of how white police deliberately hunt down and shoot black people for no reason.
But, let us consider this incident in contrast to the City of Chicago. According to Hey Jackass Chicago, https://heyjackass.com/ as of this morning there have been 514 murders in Chicago. Out of which 78.7% of those murdered were black people. As we all know, most people that are murdered are murdered by members of their own race which means that most of the murderers were also black people.
But of all those people who were murdered, only 3 people in Chicago this year have been killed by the police.
That is 0.005836% of all the people who have died by violent means in Chicago this year. So one might ask: If you are a African American person who lives in the City of Chicago where would you be safest? A local precinct station or in some neighborhood like Englewood, Austin or Garfield Park?
I would say that if I were Black, I would rather be around Blue. Seems a whole lot safer that way.
