“Social justice” is socialized law enforcement

They call me MISTER Blaska!

The noisy No Cops contingent showed up at school board Monday night even though the issue was not on the agenda. Not that that was going to stop them. The small surprise is that Madison’s school board allowed comment on an item not on agenda. Then again, they’re not going to risk being played the race card.

letter campaignExpecting the ad hoc ERO committee to be noticed some time this afternoon in order to meet 24-hour posting deadline for a meeting tomorrow but to not allow comment. We’ll save our fire for the school board meeting at which EROs are on the agenda, probably 6 p.m. Monday, August 27.

All we know we get from WMTV-15s coverage. Same people (I do see Dr. Gobbledygook in one frame) employing an oldie but goodie Saul Alinski tactic:

  • Social justice warriors create a ruckus
  • Governmental unit adds security
  • Social justice warriors cry harassment, racism, and oppression
  • Elected officials grovel and apologize
  • Rinse & repeat.

Everything is a threat to ‘people of color’

People speaking in protest of EROs in Madison schools have attended the committee’s meetings. Previous meetings have turned violent as people disagreed. Following the physical altercations, MMSD began to place security guards at the committee’s meetings and board meetings.

Some feel the unarmed security guards are a threat to the safety of people of color.

“What did the school district decide to do? Surveillance us by bringing in security guards. What happened at last week’s meeting are young people being surveillanced, harassed, shamed, and questioned. We will continue coming to say no cops, no security,” one attendee with Freedom Inc. said.

Just as “economic justice” is code for socialism, “social justice” is code for a socialized (redistributed) system of justice; i.e., is one class or race arrested more than another? Can be no other cause than rank discrimination. Socialize the arrests by arresting fewer offenders from the newly favored class and cite disparate impact.

The Policy Werkes says: Too many boys arrested; let’s nab more girls!

In the Heat of the Moment

While we’re uprooting the grave marker at Confederate Rest, let’s melt down those Susan B. Anthony coins. Turns out the old bag’s partner in the fight for women’s suffrage, Elizabeth Cady Stanton, whom the New York Times describes as the movement’s principal philosopher, “is exposed as a classic liberal racist who … publicly enunciated bigoted views of African-American men, whom she characterized as Sambos.”

William Allen White, “the Prairie Progressive” of the first half of the 20th Century, considered the southern and eastern Europeans flooding into Americas cities to be “the low breeds of Europe … political bacilli … tearing down the tissue of our institutions,” according to a Wall Street Journal review of a new biography.

laughter-magazine copyAnd finally, can’t help but recall Sidney Poitier’s great line from the movie In the Heat of the Night, as it might be applied to Donald Trump’s pal, the publisher of National Enquirer

They … call … me … MISTER Pecker!

There were no young people being surveilled, harassed, shamed, or questioned.
However, the Freedom, Inc. Antifas consistently harass and shout down anyone who dares express a different opinion.
Freedom, Inc. people are shameless liars/bullies who teach their kids the same by example.
They will say anything regardless of truth or accuracy to further their agenda.

Why isn’t the BLM-ERO crowd just screaming: “Follow the examples of Africa. Study the great example of Robert Mugabe.”

Just the opinion of one…….I’d suggest they re-visit Marcus Garvey. I doubt that those who return to “their homeland” will discover white hegemony and white privilege. When the path forward is obvious, why is it ignored?

Tom Paine, no one says “follow Mugabe’s example” because everyone knows it isn’t worth following. Picking out Mugabe is ridiculous. You’d be better off using Mandela and the way he made sure South Africa transitioned from its old self to its new one.

And you’re really going to pull the “just go back to Africa” nonsense? People who’ve had their whole lives here for generations and have fought long and hard to have just a sliver of what other Americans have, to be partly American in the eyes of bigots and the law (and themselves), don’t need you telling them where they ought to live. (Haven’t redlining and other forms of systematic discrimination already accomplished enough of that here?)

I’ll stand by my original post. I am more than tired of dissident blacks screaming about systemic racism, systemic white privilege, systemic oppression, white injustice, etc. As Blaska has previously observed,
“…after 50 years of Great Society giveaways and 45 years of uninterrupted liberal rule in Madison; after affirmative action, court-ordered busing, Section 8 subsidized housing, food stamps, special set-asides, midnight basketball, free bus passes, community-building grants and what-not, one of the most liberal cities in the country has what? More shootings, more burglaries, more car jackings, and more brawls in the schools.”

You say my example of Mugabe is ridiculous. Well, it certainly reflects greater accuracy about the general character of African governments and African history than your isolated example of Nelson Mandela.

I doubt that you’ve ever tried to tally the death toll from black-on-black governmental and tribal actions. How about a reference to the war against Biafra? How many million dead Ibo’s? What about tribal warfare in Burundi, Somalia, or Rwanda? Even the UN warns about “another genocide” in the CAR. Read the WIKI entry for “Crime in South Africa,” or search articles about the contemporary Diaspora of whites from South Africa to Australia.

No doubt, you’ve at least some knowledge about the history of the Arab/African slave trade? No need, then, again to repeat the comparative violence scale to the Atlantic slave trade. [ refer to “black” Larry Elder –> http://www.jewishworldreview.com/cols/elder071218.php3 ]

You suggest Garvey’s alternative is ‘nonsense.’ It is NOT, especially to those who constantly scream that “white EVERYTHING” is the cause of all their problems.

If the reforms and changes about race relations in this country since WWII still cause so many young PoC to complain about the “unfairness” of the dominate culture, why shouldn’t they seriously consider moving back to their historic homelands? And, why are so many PoC around the world trying so desperately to emigrate here and not to Cuba, Venezuela, Karachi, Lagos, or Bombay?

There are, I think, a host of cultural differences between the races in the US that have sustained unequal outcomes. These different outcomes, as Thomas Sowell has noted repeatedly, also characterize other nations, too. If certain cultures cannot avail themselves of our ‘progressive and open’ economic system, one that is based on merit and performance, then I suggest folks who subscribe to different cultural values consider moving to a racial, social and economic environment where race cannot be an issue. Africa is one a location.

Tom Paine, tell you why your post bothers me. By tying to Africa, you suggest a racial cause. Your Squire blames a political/cultural cause. He blames the removal of Personal Responsibility, of individual agency and their replacement with Blame-the-Other-Guy Group Guilt. The Culture of Victimhood that holds only ever-bigger Gummint can rescue people from themselves. To the extent that many of the governments on the African continent are socialist does help to buttress your claim, but you did not make that argument.

        • Tom Paine says:

          Sir Blaska,

While i (we) might suggest the reason for unequal outcomes (even roughly) is cultural, leading figures in the black “community” define the problem in STRICTLY racial terms. That is why the constant refrain, ‘white supremacy,’ etc.
So, if the leading screamers want to define the problem racially, I will accept that (but without guilt) and observe that there is NO WAY out the box for non-black folks. NOTHING can be done to satisfy them or their “supremacy” claims. Less loudly, of course, they make the same claims against others who out-compete them for academic excellence. That is why Harvard has an issue with denying Asians in greater proportion than is justified by merit – SAT or ACT scores, etc.

Very simple to see……….since there is nothing but pain for screaming black folks (and that is not all of them, to be certain) the only solutions are –> buckle up and accept responsibility; or, return to your historic homeland and — even if it means forced participation in tribal warfare of genocidal proportions. ONCE back in AFRICA, they then can shout at us about the unfairness and racism of the US as they bugs and machete their tribal enemies.
ps,….I do not believe in concepts like “black community,” white community, etc. Those terms mask divisions and disagreements as though the communities are real. They are not, unless one accepts conventional stereotypes.

Save your white man’s burden bullshit for the guilt ridden bourgeois Madison douchebags. I had the illuminating experience of living in the ghetto for years. My little patch of hell butted up against Korean, Chinese, and Vietnamese immigrant communities. This allowed me view communities that actually “fought long and hard” for their success contrasted against a community that embraced failure as an identity. The black community owns it’s own failure and will continue to fail as long as it expects success will be delivered by whitey moving the goal posts for them.

I suspect the members those “Korean, Chinese, and Vietnamese immigrant communities” WORKED long and hard for their success. As for the black community’s embracing failure as an identity, one need only look to Democrats and their minions (e.g., lunatic-fringe groups like Freedom Inc.) to see who the real culprits are. No community would naturally embrace its failures; they need to be brainwashed into doing so, which has been central to the agenda of Democrats, for at least half a century, with predictable results: dysfunctional families, joblessness, dependency, resentment, the abandonment of any values that might engender success in the larger culture (and economy), and the glorification of criminal behavior.

But, but, but, but, but, but, according to Lefty, there isn’t any such thing as voter fraud, right?

          Not exactly.

Formerly employed Lefty Scottie Foval: “It’s a very easy thing for Republicans to say they’re bussing people in. Well you know what? We’ve been bussing people in to deal with you f**kin’ assholes for fifty years and WE’RE NOT GOING TO STOP NOW. WE’RE JUST GOING TO FIND A DIFFERENT WAY TO DO IT. (bolds/caps mine)

“I think backwards from how they would prosecute if they could, and then try to build out the method to avoid that,” (Foval) says about organizing voter fraud by bringing people from state to state to vote illegally. “Let’s just say, in theory, if a major investigation came up of major vote fraud that way, how would they prove it? And who would they charge? Are they going to charge each individual with voter fraud? Or are they going to go after the facilitator for conspiracy, which they could prove? It’s one thing if all these people drive up in their personal cars. If there’s a bus involved, that changes the dynamic… You can prove conspiracy if there’s a bus, but if there are cars, it is much harder to prove.”

BUSTED! couldn’t have happened to a couple of nicer Lefty morons (forgive the redundancy)

“Scott Foval and Robert Creamer, two little-known but influential Democratic political operatives, have left their jobs after video investigations by James O’Keefe’s Project Veritas Action found Foval entertaining dark notions about how to win elections. Foval was laid off Monday by Americans United for Change, where he had been national field director; Creamer announced Tuesday night that he was ‘stepping back’ from the work he was doing for the unified Democratic campaign for Hillary Clinton.”

Lefty miscreant Bobby Creamer was a WH guest over 340 times (close to every ~ 10 days Hopey Changey was in office), 47 (~ once every 2 months) of those with a personal audience with the self-anointed 4th Greatest President EVAH who was tasked with overseeing the Most Transparent Administration EVAH!

Sometimes this stuff just kinda writes itself, am I right?

Just so I’m clear here, you’re saying no, you can’t refute “that Russia attacked…does nothing to secure this border?” (“This border” refers to the integrity of our democratic elections.)
17 intelligence agencies DO agree Putin mounted a massive disinformation campaign, more than just buying a few FB ads, and continues to do so. It hurt Hilary and benefited Trump. Did they go in and change recorded votes at the county level? Not as far as we know (so far). They did attempt to hack county voter rolls.
Trump’s efforts to protect our voting infrastructure since his (illegitimate) election: none. Why would he? The Russkies are on his side.

The weasel, the baby, and the old bald guy, never willing to stay on the topic DB posts.
How about discussing the subject in play for a change. There are plenty of comments above that you can weigh in on. This blogsite is primarily about local and state politics. Try and stay focused.

We all get you don’t like the Orange Master, his ways are mysterious and impenetrable by the common mind. There are countless other sites you can pollute with your: I hate Trump because blah blah blah rhetoric.

Amen, brother. Amen! Let’s all resolve to stay on topic (or at least on closely related topics). DB gives us plenty of grownup subjects to discuss without resorting to the tiresome crossfire of personal insults, which too often resemble those of a gaggle of 12-year-old girls on their favorite social media platform.

Fine, as long as comments are related to the subject that DB posts then whatever follows will still be within the sphere of DB’s original blog post.

Let’s see if the three stooges can intelligently argue about Blaska’s OP for a change.
So far they have been unable to because of TDS, or perhaps they simply lack the mental versatility.
Incessant, redundant, boring, trashing of the Orange Master is virtually always off topic.
    Try and stay focused.

We’re getting to the point where a critical mass of people have begun to see that caterwauling about racism is mostly manipulative bullshit. When members of the elite Asian professional class are hiding behind black liberation narratives about “structural power,” and Jews are publicly musing whether whites are “actually” upset about jokes celebrating white extinction, you’d have to be hunkered down in some sort of Centrist bomb shelter not to realize the temperature is rising outside.
