Comedy is racist!
Robin DiAngelo warned that “Comedy is . . . an excuse to get to be racist.” The remarks of the author of the book “White Fragility” were carried on the Wisconsin-based non-profit Mythinformed. DiAngelo singled out “Family Guy” and “The Simpsons” as racist entertainment. For free speech advocates, the comments are concerning given the crackdown in other countries on comedians. — More from Jonathan Turley.
“I have been getting leaned on a bit by some of the Democratic Party elders. Their subtle, nuanced message amounts to: lay the hell off Tony Evers, you asshole. This has caused me to reflect on what it means to be a moderate.” — Former mayor Dave Cieslewicz.

The Dispatch adds up the trillions that congressional Democrats have spent or want to spend over the next decade:
- $3.5 trillion on “human infrastructure,”
- $600 billion in new spending on traditional infrastructure,
- $1 trillion on new discretionary spending,
- $1 trillion on programs with fake expiration dates, plus the COVID relief bill that passed in March.
“How much is $8 trillion? Enough for Washington to deposit $60,000 into each family’s bank account. … Instead, it would go to a grab bag of expensive government expansions.”
