Shooting children as young as 6 years of age praying in their church at the start of a school day is about as depraved as it gets. The shooter was someone who “transitioned” from male to female. 23-year-old Robin Westman could not have been in his/her/whatever right mind. Got to be crazy to do something so hateful.
Maybe he was crazy before he became a she. Maybe the other way around. A subject for further study. Maybe Bobby Kennedy Jr. will trace it back to the recombinant Covid 19 vaccine.
In the meantime (and in this mean time), the partisan wolves are busying ripping whatever political advantage can be gained from this tragedy. Pavlov’s Democrats demand gun control. (The shooter’s weapons were legally obtained.) Too many Republicans are demonizing transgenderism because they (rightly) hate Woke political ideology.

What percentage of school shootings are ‘trans’?” she asks. We do not know whether a certain Jason J Failes has reason or science behind his response but, for what it’s worth:

The left is weaponizing trans kids and turning them into culture warriors. And they’ve been turned loose against the church, schools, and Trump. The trans clan has a militant wing, and it’s out for blood. They’re taking lives, defiling churches, and freaking everybody out.

Blaska’s Bottom Line: is mainly libertarian on the trans issue. Government should not encourage transitioning, schools should not hide important information from parents, employers public or private should not mandate pronouns. We draw the line at boys in the girls locker room. Women’s sports are for those born women. But there’s all kinds of people. Trans people are mentally ill and deserve our compassion and treatment. They don’t deserve the power to influence cultural norms, mandate pronouns or invade opposite sex sports/locker rooms.
Here’s the problem: when you demand that trans people deserve our compassion and treatment, you reinforce the (inaccurate) narrative that they’re ‘marginalized’ and ‘oppressed,’ which are the left’s terms for sainthood. The truth is that they’re as capable of violence and evildoing as anyone else. Until fairly recently, the percentage of people who genuinely suffer from gender dysmorphia was vanishingly small. Then along came wokeism, which is in the business of creating new classes of victims, and suddenly trans people are everywhere. I’d be willing to bet that most people who ‘identify’ as trans are just cashing in on the latest leftist fad. It’s no longer enough to dye your hair purple, cover yourself in tattoos and sport a nose-ring or two to show the world how special you are. A few years ago autism was on the cutting edge of wokeism, now it’s transgenderism, tomorrow it’s anyone’s guess.
The leftists only started pretending to care about trans people when gays became largely accepted and the gay marriage issue was settled law. After that, they needed another culture war to replace it so they could continue to portray their political adversaries as bigots. What they didn’t anticipate was another sect of theirs (the feminists) rightly taking issue with the beliefs that biological men can become women and that the same should have access to groups and spaces designated for women. Nor did they anticipate the level of fury from parents, many who lean left themselves, who wouldn’t tolerate men sharing locker rooms and sports with their daughters.

The NRA and gun makers keep them fat and rich. Was Sandy hook done by a trans? Uvalde, Columbine, concerts? It’s the usual thoughts and prayers, give someone a hug, grieve into a camera and then do nothing. Dementia Don cancelled the assault weapon ban, cut funding for programs, So save all your BS, you will need it to cover your ass after the next mass shooting. Bottom line is you guys are too gutless to stand up and tell the politicians you love so much to do something. Now that roadkill eating RFK wants us to believe that anti-depressants cause mass shootings. he should be fired right now. so just STFU and look in the mirror. Your cowardice is causing this.
We have a commentariat enriched by our clicks and a political class enabled by our votes. They represent their public very well. Our collective brain rot transcends party lines, class, ideology, and just about every group or individual identity anyone could possibly make up. Mike Judge is a prophet, but it didn’t take five centuries for Idiocracy to become reality. It took less than two decades.
Lost in all this rhetorical flatulence are multiple lives senselessly impacted, altered or ended yesterday. Let’s spare a thought for them, and for how we all might do better with whatever influence we have.

You are off the deep end if you think that has even a remote chance of working. If the US government decides to ban responsible gun owners from having the means to defend their lives, families, and property, it will also have to decide how many of them it is willing to indict, incarcerate, and kill in order to enforce it. Shred the Second Amendment and they will have a civil war on their hands. Fortunately, I think most of Congress deep down realizes this.
The majority of Americans realize that when some murderous scumbag invades their home, some mob storms their business, or some nutcase starts shooting up a school, the authorities can’t be counted on to get there in time. When that happens, we should not be upset or surprised when private citizens do the job for them. Taking away their means to do so is asinine.
