Why are Democrats afraid of auditing DEI?

Hooray for Wisconsin Republicans!

Oh this is rich! Led by Assembly Speaker Robin Vos, Republicans in the Wisconsin state legislature are auditing the state’s massive investment in the progressive eugenics of our times: diversity, equity, and inclusion. DEI.

Democrats are lined up at the schoolhouse door in defense of what amounts to the progressive version of the medieval St. Vitus Dance. The minority party is “accusing their GOP colleagues of trying to stoke political divisions on the topic of [DEI] heading into the battleground state’s November presidential election.” (Source here.) Translation: Democrats are afraid of the voters. Here is one of the most strident and partisan of their ilk:.

“I see this as nothing more than trying to drag up a boogeyman to try to get people to think a specific way.” — Sen. Tim Carpenter, D-Milwaukee.

Trying to get people to think a specific way? That is the very definition of DEI! You want boogeymen? Try white, Christian, “cisgendered” men! When there is not enough racism to go around, blame “classic Wisconsin frat boys,” as Althea Bernstein did. Jussie Smollett, anyone? More recently, a black high school athletic director faked a racist rant, trying to frame the white principal investigating him for financial finagling.

Wisconsin taxpayers and students are paying for $32 million worth of six-figure salaried DEI administrators. That does not count millions more embedded in every corner of state government. Telling students, faculty, and government workers what pronouns to use, what societal beliefs they must swear to, what lifestyles they must accept, what religious principals they must reject. DEI divides the world into a cookie-cutter system of oppressors and victims based solely on random physical characteristics. DEI teaches victimhood, not empowerment.

I don’t accept the premise of DEI. I have not given up on a color-blind society. I choose to see others as peers who happen to have inconsequential phsical traits and not as an intersectional mix of immutable characteristics for social management.” — State Sen. Eric Wimberger, R-Green Bay, quoted in the Wisconsin State Journal.

Madison alders tie

thereby defeating by an 8 to 8 vote a resolution backing the illegal Palestinian tent city protesters on the UW-Madison campus:

In favor: Govindarajan, Knox, Latimer Burris, Verveer, Rummel, Wehelie, Bennett, Currie — 8.
Opposed: Evers, Figueroa Cole, Guequierre, Harrington-McKinney, Myadze, Vidaver, Conklin, Duncan — 8.

Blaska’s Bottom Line: Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion evicted a 42-ton glacial boulder on charges of racism! Without a trial! It is why the tent city Gazas on our college campuses have Jews on the run. Beyond dollars and cents, that systemic intolerance is the true cost of diversity, equity, and inclusion. That is why DEI must DIE.

How can we turn the spotlight on DEI
in local government and K-12 schools?

Is Maggie Greene going to file a DEI based lawsuit after getting her ass handed to her by her friends in the gop? Getting booed by her own party has to hurt.
