Democrats complicit in Waukesha parade massacre

Their anti-cop platform ‘as awful as can be’

Blaska Policy Werkes probably owes Dave Cieslewicz royalties for the many times we’ve quoted his most excellent blogge. (Talking pocket change, Dave.) We quote the former mayor of Madison to prove that the Head Groundskeeper hereabouts is not so bat-shot crazy, after all.

Here’s Cieslewicz on Democrats’ complicity in the Waukesha Christmas parade massacre:

Democrats are being dealt one death blow after another by their progressive wing. And they won’t be able to escape the “soft on crime” charge that they will be hit with from now until next November. In fact, the official Democratic Party platform plank on crime is as awful as can be. It specifically calls for the elimination of cash bail.

“Democrats support eliminating the use of cash bail,” it reads.

And the rest of the plank is no better. It reads like an endless attack on police and it expresses little concern for the victims of crime. Even though it was written just a year and a half ago, while crime was in fact increasing rapidly, it claims that crime is down.

As yet another public service, the Werkes excerpts from that turgid screed:

Democratic Party Platform 2020

… Democrats believe we need to overhaul the criminal justice system from top to bottom. … Democrats know we can end the era of mass incarceration and dramatically reduce the number of Americans held in jails and prisons … This is the moment to root out structural and systemic racism in our criminal justice system and our society, and reimagine public safety for the benefit of our people and the character of our country.

Maybe if they ignore Waukesha …

It will go away. Scour the website of Madison’s Defund the Police publication. No Waukesha. John Nichols, who usually commits every stray thought into an opus, is hot after the hide of the judge in the Rittenhouse trial. MSNBC is still fixated on Donald Trump. A web search for “Waukesha” at The Nation yields “No results.” At Democracy Now!, “climate crisis” and “white supremacy” are “Hot Topics.”

Great minds …

Came across this from the New York Post as we wrote all of the above:

There’s a reason that MSNBC and CNN and CBS refer to it as merely a “parade crash” and quickly move on to other news. … There’s a reason that President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have not prejudged the violent, racist, BLM-supporting career criminal charged with murder. … They are burying the Waukesha story because it threatens the very core of the progressive revolution convulsing the country: criminal-justice “reform.”

Gov. Tony Evers on crime

“Gov.-elect Tony Evers wants to cut Wisconsin’s prison population in half. … (Source here.

“Gov. Tony Evers on 02-28-2020 vetoed several bills that would have increased criminal penalties in Wisconsin. … One of the measures would have required the state Department of Corrections to … revoke extended supervision, parole or probation and send [offenders] back to jail if they are charged with a crime while under court supervision. … Another vetoed measure in the package would have barred anyone who has committed a violent crime, like homicide or aggravated battery, from being released early from probation— Wisconsin Public Radio.

→ “Democrats have a Waukesha problem,” Kimberley Strassel writes.

Blaska’s Bottom Line: Brandi Grayson, Brenda Konkel, Mayor Satya, Freedom Inc., Progressive Dane, and The Capital Times are re-electing Ron Johnson. Thank you.

I find it interesting the WSJ omits the fact that Brooks is black, which follows an alleged policy of always identifying whites.

They and just about every leftist rag engage in this type of race baiting behavior.

It’s not journalism. It is manipulative, instigative, and dastardly.

Has Dave Ciesliewicz had a chance of heart since his days as mayor? I recall his prioritizing a trolley over police, which resulted in massive public outcry. (That was then. I’m sure most of these residents have left the city by now).

If he’s truly become enlightened, great. People do grow. But forgive me if I remain cautiously optimistic. It takes much more than words for me to be convinced.

I trust not one democrat voter or former or current leader. They may once in while agree with sane policy. The issue is their is always a “but” or speak from sides of their mouth. None are ever to be trusted ever.

How is it the fault of any of us when some P.O.S. does what this P.O.S. did to innocent people? The dem’s want us to believe it is our fault. As it is from their own mouths:

“Democrats believe we need to overhaul the criminal justice system from top to bottom. … Democrats know we can end the era of mass incarceration and dramatically reduce the number of Americans held in jails and prisons … This is the moment to root out structural and systemic racism in our criminal justice system and our society, and reimagine public safety for the benefit of our people and the character of our country.”

How does race play any part in what some carrier criminal does to other human beings?

If Brooks was a white dude, would we see this situation any differently?

Instead of standing against crime, Democrats doubled down and dove deeper into the dumpster.
Anarchists, BLMers and Antifafaralls are the militant wings and “usefool tools” of their party.

Recently a guy walked into a pizza business and waved a AR15 around at people because he was told he had to wait 10 min. for his order. Bail after his arrest? Yes. This behavior is dangerous to the public. No Bail. People who act this way should be held, sent to a facility, given a psych exam. They obviously have a mental issue. Hold them, treat them, release them with the bill in their hand. You get them off the street and if necessary hold them for extended treatment.
