Tim Scott for President

Race-baiting progressives’ worst nightmare.

The hard left is scared (it rhymes with) witless of Tim Scott.

Because he is a black conservative. Because he is a Republican United States senator from the birthplace of the Confederacy. Because he is an empathetic speaker. Because the arc of his life gives the lie to the hard left narrative of racial victimhood. Because he is the antidote to the progressive enterprise of cradle-to-grave government servitude. Because the man loves America as the land of opportunity and redemption.

“From cotton to Congress in one generation” is, indeed, Tim Scott’s life story.

“Hear me clearly: America is not a racist country. It’s backwards to fight discrimination with different types of discrimination.” — U.S. Sen. Tim Scott, R-SC

Minority party responses to presidential addresses are little noted, nor long remembered — usually for good reason. But Sen. Scott’s Wednesday evening 04-28-21 may be the Democrats’ fire bell in the night. (O.K., there’s two cultural references in the same paragraph. Over-written? You decide.)

•   “I get called ‘Uncle Tom’ and the N-word — by ‘progressives’!”  — U.S. Sen. Tim Scott.

•   “The left exploded on social media and insulted him exactly as he said they do. This mild man never tries to own the libs, but he owns them the minute he walks in the room.” — Peggy Noonan.

•   Having Joy Behar on The View lecture a black man from South Carolina on systemic racism is part of this. — Erick Erickson

•   The hard left Nation magazine: “[Wednesday] night was Joe Biden’s moment. May there be many more.”

Perhaps not since Ronald Reagan and Tommy Thompson has a Republican better enunciated the optimistic message of initiative, personal responsibility, and opportunity. Not victimhood, collective guilt, and grievance.

Here is a black senator — unapologetically religious — who put up a police reform bill a year ago after the killing of Breonna Taylor only to have Democrats filibuster because they needed the issue, not the solution.

Rather than raise expectations

We contrast Sen. Scott with Ali Muldrow, newly elected as president of the Madison WI public school board. The young woman’s signature achievement to date (aside from defeating Blaska in the 2019 election) is to expel police from the schools because too many minority-race children were committing crime.

This is a school district whose arc bends not toward justice or even education but toward segregation. (“Madison schools: quit teaching racism.”) A school district that regularly denies innovative education proposals (just ask Kaleem Caire). A school district in which only 11% of black students can read at grade.

Blaska’s  Bottom Line: Did your media source bury Senator Scott’s address? Wonder why?

What is YOUR choice: victor or victim?

There is a video from Dr. Jordan Peterson that talks about not allowing yourself to become resentful, deceitful or arrogant.

When you think about it, all of these are hallmarks of the far left.

They have resentment of those who have more than they do. They become deceitful in the use of language to get people to join their cause. They become arrogant in thinking that they have all the answers and anyone who questions their answers is to be locked up in a gulag and re-educated to the far left way of thinking.

In short, they are communists, followers of Marx who’s ideas have been proven time and time again, not based on reality.

If you don’t believe Jordan Peterson, just read the Black Book of Communism among many other books on that subject.

Not going to get too excited. Wasn’t last year supposed to be the mighty BLEXIT? Didn’t happen.
Dems will always find a black (or black-like Kamala type) to tell the self-oppressed exactly what they want to here. Also he does seem too “banana in the tail pipey”.

Don’t recall the exact number, but more black Americans voted for Trump than for any other Republican presidential candidate in previous elections.

The Republican party is more diverse than it’s been in the past. Changing hearts and minds takes time.

His positive, upbeat message has no place in these times. Do the terms “uppity” and “doesn’t know his place” come to mind? If so, maybe you should adjust your thinking.

The left revealed themselves. I wish every black American could see what the identity politicians REALLY think of them.

Listening to the news on NPR this morning, everyone still cooing over Biden’s address to Congress (or a select part of it). No longer a doubt in my mind that the MSM is now officially a state propaganda enterprise. Worse than the old-fashioned Soviet style enterprise in that they were forced to spout lies whereas today’s media eagerly prostitute themselves.

I loved Senator Scott’s message. Full of hope, unity, and love for his country, and of what you can accomplish with dedication and HARD WORK.

He’s polar opposite to what the left is selling these days, so of course they’ll resort to racial slurs and of course they’ll try to smear and take him down. The left has no sense of shame, no respect for others or themselves. They WANT us to be miserable victims who hate each other. Sick.

You’re certainly entitled to your own opinion, but I’m curious why you think his speech was idiotic.

I thought that racists were the Left’s necessary boogeyman. A fig newton of their collective over-heated, fetid fever-swamped imagination. But, no. Thanks to Tim Scott, we finally found all of those white supremacist racists the hive-minded media, the D卐M☭CRATS, Jim Crow Joe and Commie “Heel’s Up” Harris incessantly kept yammering on about. They’re on the Left, right under the president’s nose. After Scott’s inspirational response to the president’s speech, “America is NOT a racist country.”, we didn’t have long to wait before the real party of intolerance came crawling out of its dark hole and attacked.

In one of the most vile displays of hypocrisy, D卐M☭CRATS have apparently decided that it’s okay to be a racist, prejudiced bigot … as long as the black man is a Conservative.

For the Left, Conservative blacks are the wrong kind of minority. Just ask Clarence Thomas.
During his confirmation hearings, his high tech lynching was personally led by Zhou Bai-Din.

Any African American who strays from the Leftist lockstep orthodoxy and their proglibocratic plantation porch better know that he’s going to get his leash yanked. Hard. “Big Mama Nanny State don ‘low no free-thinkin’ roun heah, boy. Git back up heah, on da poch, dawg, where you blong.”

The acceptance of the Left’s racist, prejudiced bigotry is one of the ugliest blood libel smears in all of America’s political discourse. It’s demeaning. It’s against one’s Civil Rights. And it’s evil.

    Good Dog, Happy Man,

Got to thinking about what you said and thought that if you add 20 or so million people who are black, who were aborted, to the population of the black people in the U.S. that would mean that their population would be more than 19% rather than the 13% that it is now.

Sources from hell have said that Maggie Sanger and Adolph Hitler are looking forward to the next round of idiots who will siege heil them as they are killing the black babies of America.

    Sad, so Sad.
