The cloistered inhabitants of Stately Blaska Manor are waiting for the usual shrill voices to be heard to defend Democrats’ conduct in the Kavanaugh confirmation hearings. So far, all they are hearing are Simon and Garfunkel.

Bad enough the chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee couldn’t even introduce the nominee before the interruptions began. That signaled the crazies in the audience to begin staging their own outbursts.
Getting three times the documents of the last three Supreme Court nominees, combined, wasn’t enough. Democrats on the committee demanded documents belonging to President George W. Bush, as well.
But does it get any lower than Sen. Diane Feinstein, D-California?
“I have received information from an individual concerning the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court,” Ms. Feinstein said in a statement. “That individual strongly requested confidentiality, declined to come forward or press the matter further, and I have honored that decision. I have, however, referred the matter to federal investigative authorities.”
Sen. Feinstein had this letter since well before the hearings began. Did not ask Judge Kavanaugh about it in 40 hours of grilling. Made no mention in her opening remarks. Discussed it not with chairman Grassley.
The Wall Street Journal reasonably asks, “If the ‘information’ is worrying enough to send to the FBI, why did Sen. Feinstein wait so long? … The charitable explanation is that she didn’t think the information was credible enough to warrant investigation, but that now under pressure from her colleagues she felt obliged to surface it.”
Never mind the colleagues. Feinstein is fighting for her job. The 85-year-old couldn’t get the endorsement of her own California Democratic party in a race against a much younger Democrat facing her in the November election (thanks to the state’s jungle primary). Therefore, the incumbent feels pressed to extreme measures.
News outlets, fed from well placed leaks, report the letter alleges sexual hijinks in high school some 35 years ago.

I fail to see the connection between McCarthy being re-evaluated as not as wrong as previously thought about Soviet espionage (while remaining a paranoid, drunken demagogue who brought dishonor to the US Senate and Wisconsin), and the “horror” of gays being recognized and allowed to marry, and the myth of “no” borders resulting in sleeper cells under every rock.
ABob has no enemies on the Left but sees KKK, fascists and RAY-cists everywhere. There may be a connection. And I stand with Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton (and assumedly Joe McCarthy) in 2008 when they affirmed that marriage is between a man and a woman.

I honestly think the Justice Department should fully investigate this “letter” that Senator Feinstein passed on to the FBI. It appears that Senator Feinstein has been involved up to her jowls with some really dirty stuff in relation to the Kavanaugh hearings. There might actually be some real collusion to intentionally falsely accuse and provide false witness to the FBI on this one which would be both libel & slander on top of intentionally providing false information to the FBI. There is clearly some kind of collusion going on to undermine the confirmation process and destroy Kavanaugh’s reputation.
This is all the morally bankrupt political left’s the ends justifies the means BS and until some really high Democrats heads roll because of the unethical BS that the Democrat’s are doing nothing will change and it will get worse.

Marriage is what it’s always meant? Is it man and woman uniting to have and raise children? Or is it the state recognizing and granting legal protections to a union? Seems to me gays are mostly interested in the latter and the majority of society finally sees no threat in that. As a Conservative I’m all for equal rights under the law for every single citizen. Between gay folks ditto but that doesn’t make it a marriage. Call it a bond a union a partnership or anything you like but not marriage.
