Happy graduation, 8th graders!
An end-of-year event at a Sennett middle school Tuesday ended with police breaking up a fight involving up to 20 people, a police official said.
Madison Police Department spokesman Joel DeSpain said eighth graders from the school on Pflaum Road were having a graduation ceremony next door at La Follette High School at 1 p.m. before the disturbance.
Police said after the event, 15-20 parents and children were involved in an altercation. The school’s resource officer intervened and called for backup. From Channel 3000.
