Democrats are clinking their worry beads.
Blaska puts his money where his mouth is, albeit, not proportionately. (We’re not LOADED!) We put one whole dollar down on a bet that Francesca Hong gets 39.5 percent of the vote Tuesday 08-11-26 in the Democrat(ic) primary for governor. Enough to edge out (with a plurality) a too-little, too-late push from Milwaukee County Exec David Crowley, who left the race before he got back in. The Great Blaska predicts:
| WI Democrat primary | |
| Hong | 39.5% |
| Crowley | 30.5% |
| Roys | 11% |
| Brennan | 8% |
| Barnes * | 6% |
| Rodriguez * | 3% |
| Hughes * | 1% |
| * Dropped out but still on the ballot | |
“Establishment” Democrats understand that battleground Wisconsin is a lot more purple than Hong’s 76th Assembly district in downtown Madison — the bluest in the state. The human squalor of the Corey Ruiz Autonomous Zone in her Assembly district reminds voters what socialism actually looks like. Bullhorn in hand, Hong told the mob that police were guilty of “an execution” in defending themselves against a knife-wielding career criminal.
Gov. Tony Evers, as the adult in the room, is touring the state with Crowley. The party would very much like to beat Republican Tom Tiffany in November.
“Cancel Thanksgiving. Should have done this in 1621. If it takes a worldwide pandemic for us to realize we should stop celebrating colonialism and the original super-spreader event that killed Indigenous folx and women so be it.” — Francesca Hong 11-16-20
The woman is dishonest

John Nichols and other socialists gaslight that Hong is just another of the “sewer socialists” of long-ago Milwaukee. Except that Emil Seidel, Daniel Hoan, and Frank Zeidler never defunded police, emptied prisons, erased national borders, or allowed men in the women’s locker room. All positions that Hong, age 37, has taken this decade.
Those Milwaukee mayors never cozied up to anti-Semites, yet Hong shares microphones with Hamas apologist Hasan Piker. Milwaukee mayors never guilt-tripped Thanksgiving, either.
→ “Cancel Thanksgiving,” she wrote. “V-Day” brings out “the worst of humanity,” she mused. — NY Times
→ Hong “slammed for not giving a straight answer about whether she would cancel Thanksgiving.” — Washington Post (pay wall)
→ “I couldn’t make a character like this up! … She once said she had an anxiety attack from being around ‘too many old white people.’” — Bill Maher
→ “I don’t believe people who renounce things.” — Bill Maher
That’s another reason to vote against Francesca Hong. The young lady dissembles. She is untruthful. Dishonest. A bullschidtt artist. When asked at the WISN TV-6 debate about her many calls to Defund the Police, Hong took a page right out of Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals: blame others for that which you are guilty. Hong blamed Republican Assembly Speaker Robin Vos for defunding police because … his party holds the line on taxes!

At a school assembly out-state, Hong was asked about born men competing in women’s sports. Never answered. Instead, threw up a fog of words, among them demanding equal pay for professional women’s basketball players.
A little well deserved mischief
The indentured servants are crossing over to the Democrat(ic) ballot Tuesday and voting Hong. So are scores of other Republicans. Why? Because Hong is eminently beatable. Because there is a reason this radical chose to run as a Democrat — it’s a good fit.
The other Democrats are Hong without the tweets. They’re open to “reimagining policing” (whatever that means). Has any of the seven on the ballot opposed transgender sports? Supported repatriating illegal immigrants? Has any Democrat — anywhere — vowed to cut taxes? All say they want government-run K-12 schools to be “fully funded.” How much $$$ is THAT? What school administrator is going to say, “No more, please! We’re fully funded now! Thank you.”
Blaska’s Bottom Line: It’s not just Thanksgiving, my progressive acquaintances. Like the Thanksgiving she described just four months ago to CNN, Election Day will also be “an incredibly painful time for many people in our communities.” Democrats, especially.
