‘Every parent’s worst nightmare’

‘Peter Principle meets DEI.’

Unsolicited advice to every school of education in America: make the federal criminal case against a child-abusing high school administrator mandatory course work on the perils of diversity, equity, and inclusion. Documents filed in United States of America v Robert Gilkey-Meisegeier (Case 3:25-cr-00088-wmc) constitute the required reading.

Gilkey-Meisegeier, age 31, was sentenced Tuesday 04-28-26 to 18 years in federal prison for soliciting a video of a partially nude student. Charges of possession of child pornography and attempted production of child pornography were dismissed in a plea agreement.

Sun Prairie WI schools hired the young black man in July 2022 as something called a “youth advocate” and promoted him in August 2024 at age 29 to dean of students at SP West high school. He lasted one turbulent school year before being fired on 06-09-25.

“Every aspect” of the Sun Prairie school district was committed to diversity, equity, & inclusion.

Even his defense counsel writes, “his promotion to dean of students, it would seem, is the perfect storm of “Peter Principle meets DEI.” Defense attorney Christopher Van Wagner added:

Even before he was promoted, complaints about the defendant had been submitted to school administrators.

His behaviors while serving as the uncredentialed, unqualified dean of students were almost foreseeable, based on his infancy as a crack-baby [adopted by a white family], his early diagnosis with Fetal Alcohol Syndrome (FAS), his well-intentioned and loving family’s decision not to put him in special ed classes … and his meteoric rise in the job ranks from a failed, “do-not-rehire” retail associate (and the same as a coach in Cambridge) to, first, a “youth advocate” and then, quickly “promoted” to a salary spot as a DEI-era dean of students.

No employer heed was much paid to his five criminal convictions, his list of employment failures or his lack of any degree, training, credentials or qualifications for such a position. (Our emphases.)

Who hired this guy?

Indeed, the Woke former principal at Sun Prairie West herself faces criminal charges, the district superintendent left Sun Prairie for his previous (and smaller) school district, other staff were pushed or jumped, and there was churn in the school board. Now let’s hear from federal prosecutor Julie Pfluger:

Gilkey-Meisegeier

The defendant is in certain respects, every parent’s worst nightmare: an adult in a position of trust who used that authority to exploit the very children he was responsible for protecting. … The defendant’s actions have left lasting effects not only on the victim, but also on their families, and the broader community in general.

The defendant has not demonstrated meaningful acceptance of responsibility. During the investigation, he denied allegations, minimized his conduct, and attempted to shift blame to others (including other male faculty, other students, and the victims themselves).

Police were ‘stunned’

Indeed, at his arrest on 06-24-25, “law enforcement were stunned to learn that a minor victim who had only recently turned eighteen, was living with the defendant — after he had been directed by the school not to see her, and after he was aware of the criminal investigation.Even after his arrest and subsequent plea, “the defendant continued to contact minors through other inmates’ phone accounts.”

His Snapchat folder contained videos of a female student in the shower. His cell phone contained “hundreds of pornographic images with the faces of several female students
morphed onto them … and 39 pornographic images of a 12-year-old female, along with notes pertaining to her identity.”

Follow-up interviews revealed that Gilkey-Meisegeier had requested nude images in exchange for purchasing alcohol for a female student and had altered student attendance records to excuse absences and tardies.

Blaska’s Bottom Line: We want Francesca Hong, John Nichols, Maia Pearson, Mayor Satya, Gov. Evers, Mark Pocan, Jill Underly, Jennifer Mnookin, and the entire Democrat(ic) party to deny that diversity, equity, and inclusion caused this tragedy.

How many more minority kids has DEI victimized?

If only by teaching them they are victims.

How about the numskull that just recently tried to gun down the president. He too was promoted to his level of disaster by the DEI community. This is something that will continue to show up time and time again until the progressive left stops dealing in fantasy and find some kind of honesty with reality. That will never happen.

Thank God they quickly settled his case, RELEASED THE FILES and sentenced him. All without countless Politian’s going on camera spouting nonsense and excuses.

Time to review the school board and their role in this DEI hire.
