instead of verifying Democrats’ paranoia!
After a driver wrecked one of brother Bill’s trucks, the man immediately asked for a raise in pay. This is what is known as “hubris.” So that we’re singing out of the same thesaurus, hubris means excessive self-confidence, arrogance.
You think maybe Elon Musk suffers from hubris? Well, you would be wrong. He enjoys it and so do the unlettered field hands at Blaska Experimental Farm (and Penal Colony). Some fear running with scissors; the World’s Richest Man runs through the federal bureaucracy with a live chain saw! That magnificent bastard!
But his manic magic does not transfer — at least, not to a state supreme court candidate! Elon’s hubris is going to sink Brad Schimel. The DOGE man is coming to Green Bay WI Sunday ahead of Tuesday’s nationally critical WI Supreme Court election. For those of us backing Schimel, this is about as welcome as J.D. and Mrs. Vance carrying ice to Greenland.

This just in: Gov. Tony Evers vetoes return to honest accounting of student achievement. He’d rather help Jill Underly than Wisconsin kids!
He’s not invincible
Musk announced last week that he is paying $100 to voters who signed a petition opposing activist judges. Now he’s going to give two lucky voters $1 million dollars at random. (Like Broadway actress Lynn Fontanne, Blaska CAN be bought; we cannot be bored.)
One of the faithful frets that the news media will “spew about how billionaires are buying votes for the Republicans, while completely ignoring the billionaires paying for the Democrat.” If an ordinary schlub like that can figure it out, why can’t Musk? Did his A-I project blow a fuse? Got to think Schimel and Schimming (our gifted party chairman) know good and well that Daddy Warbucks dispensing million$ like so much pixie dust feeds right into the maw of the progressive news media. But how do you tell Elon Musk to stay the hell away without incurring the wrath of the Almighty Oz?
Brad Schimel, Bought and Paid for by the Rich, has been Susan Crawford’s campaign mantra and here comes Elon Musk to prove it. Doesn’t help that Musk is trying to change a Wisconsin law preventing his Teslas from being sold at local dealerships owned by the manufacturer. Worse, the gold standard Marquette Law School poll says 56% of independent voters don’t like Musk in the first place.
Blaska’s Bottom Line: Are any voters uncertain about Schimel waiting for Musk to seal the deal?

Agreed. Musk will sink Schimmel. In fact, he could very likely sink His Orangeness too…..
I pray that the Squire is incorrect this time.
No one is undecided. It’s a GOTV effort. He’ll have the crowd roaring mad with tales of fraud, waste and abuse. Who knows maybe some libs will have the big one watching it.
Just cashed my check for $100 from Mr. Musk, my own personal Daddy Warbucks. Easiest money I ever made (full disclosure: I’d sign just about anything for $100). Anyone who doesn’t take advantage of that offer is a world-class sap. Keeping my fingers crossed that I’ll be the million $ winner. My question: Why aren’t Republicans making sure that WI voters know that Crawford is backed by that old Shylock Soros and the fat-a$$ governor of Illinois? Aren’t their dollars as tainted as Elon’s?
the difference is they didn’t walk in, make you sign a pledge and personally hand you money.
Nobody made me sign it–I did so with a smile on my face and a song in my heart.
So; are you saying there are no activist repub. judges? how about Thomas? When B.S. loses you, all can blame it on Muskcovite. If he wins then people will claim it was illegal. No upside for you Dave. Is it 100 cash or 100 off on your next Maga purchase?
It ain’t hubris if you can do it.
Squire gives an epic example of how the Republican Party can lose so many elections.
Musk wins. Every time. Jordan Peterson tells us, “Only a fool bets against Elon Musk.”
Squire gets a little whiny worrying about what the Left will say. Let them. Meet them head on (h/t Theoden).
Wisconsin Republicans are on D.
Trump, Musk and DOGE are on O.
C’mon Squire… lead, follow or get out of the way.
Albert Einstein once said, “We cannot solve problems at the same level of thinking that we were at when we created those problems.”
The pearl clutchers can’t begin to understand how Musk works.
Conservative Ross Douthat writes “the Administration’s biggest problem: its difficulty speaking to anyone who isn’t already invested in its cause.”
Elon is not the only reason he will lose. Their are many reasons and they started with him being straight white male. Those three qualities trigger more crazy eyed kooks and dandys than Elon.
Never been a fan or not a fan of Elon Musk. I give him props from actually using his money to partially save freedom of speech online by buying twitter and telling the federal government to get bent. All the kooks and dandys, on this blog and everywhere, are all up in arms, fainting and seething, over what amounts to a real audit and actual fact finding on basic priorities that all governments should provide to us citizens and legal occupants. This is ugly process to try and find and unwind 50 years of absolute nonsense spending. I hear from many they hate the way it is being done, when i ask then how would you do it? I get deflection musk is hitler, evil billionaire or i dont know but this is not it. Biden was in charge of this under obama, well bang up job there Brownie. I say to these nutjobs, everything will be just fine.
And it’s not just the nonsense spending, it’s the nonsense process. People say it’s difficult to build things in Madison and the Federal Government says “Hold my beer”. Biden’s “Build back better” has become “Talk about maybe building something someday”.
Our ancestors who built the Empire State Building in a little over a year are turning over in their graves. Luckily X has taken massive audience share from the MSM and more people know the truth. The slashing of government workers is going to breed better processes.
[…] fit as a fiddle. Seemingly hasn’t aged a day since he left the governor’s office six years ago. This page fretted that Elon Musk would suck all the oxygen out of the state supreme court race, would play into the […]
you’re right on this one Dave. People don’t like the Muscovite. The proud people of Wisconsin didn’t like this guy coming here and throwing $100 bills at them like some king tossing his table scraps to the peasants. And they don’t like Dementia Don letting him tear up our government. trump’s quote of “I really don’t care” is going to follow him forever. This Crawford win is just the start.
[…] We do not want to hear at Stately Blaska Manor that Brad Schimel was a bad candidate. Tim Michels in 2022 was a bad candidate. Just Call Me Brad bore an impressive resumé, gave a great stump speech, had the right issues, worked his tail off, generated enthusiasm. Each candidate had billionaire funding but none were more high-profile than Musk. (We said, “Pls. stay away …“) […]
