Blaska’s Bottom Line: Promising to double down on More Free Stuff, as Kamala Harris did in her Milwaukee debut as the nominee apparent, is not going to get her into the White House. She can choose Joe Manchin as her running mate (she won’t) but she is still Bernie Sanders without the Brooklyn accent.
If the choice is between Joe Stalin and Benito Mussolini, we’ll pass.

And it takes them less than a nanosecond to go back to claiming a “stolen election” or concocting some conspiracy from the Deep State or calling the jailed January 6th criminals “Patriots.” They can’t help themselves. I’m getting emails telling me how some sniper expert on X has exposed the conspiracy to assassinate Trump. I counter that it’s hard to believe that anybody who seriously wanted to kill DT, would choose a 20-year-old misfit (who couldn’t make his high school rifle team) to be the shooter in their grand, complex scheme involving a compliant Secret Service, FBI and Homeland Security. Of course, this guy on X has all the inside dope.
Huh…I would have thought that even the most riney-ish of RINO would vote against a coronated candidate that says that a “70% to 80% tax rate” and “every car should be eliminated in the next 11 years” are bold ideas that should be discussed.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the Dems are planning to shoot Kamala. The Secret Service has shown themselves to be incompetent so no one would bat an eye. They’d have a martyr and could blame it on MAGA. This only works if she picks a running mate that people could see being POTUS so Buttigieg is out.
If she picks a competent and likable running mate watch for assassination.

I admit it is crazy speculation but these are the times we live in. Who would have predicted the assassination attempt and the pitiful performance of the Secret Service? Who would have predicted Biden dropping out? Who would have predicted the Democrats jettisoning Democracy and picking their candidate in a smoke filled room? Who would have predicted this sorry “reintroduction” of Kamala when the proof of the first introduction does not go away?

More likely that Trump ends the war in Ukraine by cutting off any aid to Ukraine and forcing Zelinsky to negotiate away land to Putin, or simply surrender.
