Or they don’t want to yield the proximity to power and engaged in a cover-up worthy of Edith Galt Wilson. A congressional investigation would clear that up.

For ABC News Friday night 07-05-24, Stephanopoulos was unsparing interviewing the President in what looked like Madison WI’s Sherman middle school library. Felt sorry for Joe Biden as a human being. Got to be tough being asked if the elevator goes all the way to the top. (Me, I’m used to it!) The President refused to submit to a neurological test. “I’m tested every day” is not a bad answer. A better answer is “Yer gawddam right I’ll take that test and ace the damn thing!” Could always cancel at the last minute, citing a cold.
High up in the news reportage of Biden’s speech at Sherman middle school is the President’s vow to beat Donald Trump “again in 2020.” The President quickly corrected and it was his only verbal miscue. Who doesn’t trip occasionally like that? Well, maybe not JFK or Winston Churchill, even in his dotage. But that’s where we’re at now. Forget the meat of the speech and scan for evidence of senile dementia.
Joe Biden could declare war on Kazakhstan and Americans would be scanning for boo boos. (Did he really mean Uzbekistan?)

As a resident of the Madison School District, I am appalled that Biden’s political rally and the ABC News interview took place in an MMSD school. I want to know what the financial arrangements were. How much did the Biden campaign and ABC News pay to the MMSD to host these events? Maybe it will help cover their budget shortfall?
