Blaska’s Bottom Line: Instead, White House correspondents are asking, mid-day, if it’s Biden’s nap time. When you are a punch line, you are a-losing.

Michelle Obama has gone on record saying politics is “not in my blood”, but she would be a vote-getter. Other names being mentioned in Democratic circles are Governors Gavin Newsom and Andy Beshear.
In my opinion, Michelle Obama has integrity and would be fit to serve in public office. I will concede that she is more of a fantasy candidate.
You cannot be serious. Gavin Newsom wouldn’t win a single Midwest state. Those voters are acutely aware of the problems California has that they want no part of. They also don’t want to be presided over by a progressive coastal elite pretty boy that governs the most overly bureaucratic state in the union. The mountain states would also reject Newsom since California expatriates are overrunning their cities and pricing the locals out of properties that they’ve held for years. Michelle Obama? She has almost no relevant experience to hold the office of President. Kamala Harris? Her disapproval rating is almost as bad as Biden’s.
I read this same sort of commentary on the New York Times the other day and was bewildered. I do not understand how Democrats can be this self-deceiving.

But I can tell you that a lot of moderate independents aren’t comfortable with it, and those are precisely the people you need to care about right now. Not that the Democrats will—they’ve been increasingly giving moderate independents the finger over the last 20 years, and especially since Trump’s last presidency.

Propaganda is effective. So effective that’s all there is the national campaigns. The amazing thing to me is not that the left has demonized Trump … that’s the easy part. But to get people, ordinary Americans to vouch that Joe Biden is a “good, decent man “ now that is some trick. I guess the fiction demands a guy in a white hat vs the guy in the black hat.
What weak minded fool vouches for Joe Biden’s character? I could see doing it for Jimmy Carter. He certainly seems like the real deal. But hell I’ll never know for sure.
