The WI State Journal must be PROUD!
We are reaching out to Wisconsin State Journal editor-in-chief Kelly Lecker *. We are asking for updates on newspaper subscription cancellations so far in the wake of todays Page One transgender pornography.
There it is, on page one, above the fold, a man named Jake posing as drag queen Kayos Lynn Mirage, in profile, his/her bottom as bare as Mother Hubbard’s cupboard. (Or maybe it’s sheer hosiery but it’s awfully sheer.)
'What are you wearing, 'Jake' from State Farm? 😛

Just not sure about gender
Throw the newspaper open to Page A6 to reveal a full-page spread in both senses of the word. Jacob Lefeber as drag queen is pictured with one knee pointed southwest and the other southeast to titillate the crotch watchers.
We preach tolerance here at the Werkes, which is a step below acceptance and nowhere near approval. If it tells you anything, we skipped right past the gay Pride mongering until the Lovely Lisa shoved it under our noble proboscis. TMI: too much information. If it helps, we yawned at the near-mandatory, over-long heterosexual love-making scenes that seemed de riguer in 1970s films.
What gives at the Wisconsin Pride Journal? Are they trying to outflank John Nichols at The Capital Times? This past Spring, WSJ endorsed critical race theorist Blair Mosner Feltham for school board. She’s the one who indicted “Our schools [as] products of white supremacy.” Endorsed a pro-abortion partisan for supreme court.
The question arises: did our favorite Madison daily morning newspaper ever feature the Reichenberger brothers’ Dangle Lounge ecdysiasts on its front page?
Is this the hill Democrats want to die on?
→ PBS interviewed a Brown U pediatrician who said a child could identify gender dysphoria the same as a tooth ache.
→ NPR celebrated Fathers Day with the story of someone who gave birth to two children after transitioning (apparently not completely) from a woman to a man.
→ LGBTQ Nation laments that “Three trans people banned from White House events after going topless at Joe Biden’s Pride party.”
Blaska’s Bottom Line: We follow Chief Shon Barnes’ police blotter; we recall no incidences of straight-on-gay harassment here in Madison WI. Dykes can ride their bikes. We don’t care whether Lindsey Graham or Herb Kohl are gay.
But we draw the line at first-grade Drag Queen story hour, men in a Sun Prairie high school women’s shower, and competing in women’s swim meets. We’ll skip the baseball game that invites the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence humping the crucifix. The Werkes believes candidates for so-called “gender-affirming surgeries” should be at least 18 years of age.
We’re with County Supv. Jeff Weigand: a 10-year-old girl should not be allowed to ride bicycle through the streets of downtown Madison with naked men and women.
Is there no place to draw a line?
* UPDATE: Kelly Lecker responds: “You’re actually the first and only complaint I’ve received on that story. I do understand that not everybody appreciates drag shows. But it is not porn or anything close to it. I hope the story shows why drag performers continue to work hard despite the threats against them.”

Yeah, I noticed that too while trying to enjoy my coffee this morning. Then went back to see if I could find the news worthiness.
And if I were you, I would not ask someone where to draw the line in this city. You too might get a pic on the first page.
And if you want to buy a used bike, make to first ask if it was ever ridden in the naked bike ride…..

Forgetting the Lefty Beauty And The Beast B!tches who pounded Gay Lefty Legislator Tim Carpenter during the bLack LIES Matter riots three (3) years ago as we speak?
The Gotch
ooooohhhh boo hoo. Maybe if they stayed in their own lane and out of our faces they wouldn’t feel so persecuted. On the other hand, I missed the naked bike ride…my BB gun was in for repairs.
Who the hell cares about Drag Queens? Would rather read about sewage clogs.
Gave up my subscription to the Wisconsin State Urinal years ago after I called the editor to complain about the left-biased coverage. His response was: ” it’s above my pay grade”.
We also canceled our WSJ subscription several years ago. After the WSJ’s own gender transition into a caricature of the Capital Times occurred, we felt that the morning paper had left us, similar to how the Democratic Party has left its former voters.
