Dane County to urge non-compliance with transgender restrictions.
Remember when June was Dairy Month in Wisconsin? Cows still poop on Madison’s concourse but the ruminants have yielded pride of place to the transgender movement. During a recording of the Village People singing that disco standard, “YMCA,” Gov. Tony Evers hoisted the “progress flag” atop the state capitol.
The Associated Press defines the progress flag as “a variation of the rainbow flag with additional stripes and a chevron pattern that represent LGBTQ individuals of color, transgender individuals, and those living with or who have died of HIV or AIDS.”
The first openly gay mayor of Madison hoisted the same flag over the Municipal Building to honor the first transgender alder, Dina Nina Martinez-Rutherford. President Biden is showing the flag at the White House — after which, a trans model went topless. (Read & weep.)

Another non-church sanctuary
Hopping on the Woke wagon, the Dane County Board of Supervisors will consider a resolution Thursday 06-15-23 “Declaring Dane County a Sanctuary for Trans- and Nonbinary Individuals.” The sanctuary resolution purports to counter the alleged persecution of transgender individuals. This one goes beyond virtue signaling:
If the state of Wisconsin passes a law that imposes criminal or civil punishments, fines, or professional sanctions on any person or organization that seeks, provides, receives or helps someone to receive gender-affirming care such as puberty blockers, hormones or surgery, the Dane County Board of Supervisors urges the Sheriff to make enforcement their lowest priority.

“Encouraging an adult to mutilate their God-determined gender is very sad; but to encourage the mutilation of a child’s body is horrific and is to be condemned and not praised,” says Supv. Jeff Weigand, Marshall, likely one of only two (out of 37) to vote No. Republican state legislators have attempted to reinstate conversion therapy to return transgendered to their birth identities.
We don't think Texas Gov. Greg Abbott will load buses of transgendered with one-way tickets to Madison WI.
Tolerance, yes
One of the remarkable social shifts was the acceptance of gays, even among Republicans, reflecting our libertarian DNA. Maybe our arteries have calcified but the current near-sanctification of transgenderism seems a bridge too far. We’re with Bill Maher, thankful that his parents didn’t put out his eye when their boy wanted to be a pirate. We don’t think tolerance means inviting to the baseball stadium the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, known for humping the crucifix.
Indeed, 12 Republican-led states are restricting the use of off-label drugs or experimental gender surgeries on children. Louisiana enacted legislation to ban sex reassignment for minors claiming to be transgender. Europe is doing the same, according to National Review. The United Kingdom’s National Health Service announced that it would limit the use of puberty-suppressing drugs going forward. Norway is restricting the use of puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and transition-related surgeries.
Blaska’s Bottom Line: We draw the line at biological males in the girls’ bathroom or at their swim meet. Our pronouns are “Hey, you!”

I liked it better when Republican alphabet people like J Edgar Hoover, Roy Cohn, Cardinal Spellman, Joe McCarthy, Dennis Hastert, Bob Bauman, Larry Craig and Lindsay Graham at least tried to keep it in the closet. They weren’t hopping on the woke wagon – they were hopping on something else.
Now we have Caityln Jenner, Madison Cawthorn and Mr. Garrison dressing up and prancing around. What a disgrace. I am appalled.
Can I still watch Uncle Miltie on YouTube or are we going to ban that as well?
