Video of Nashville police response makes her look foolish!
After police stopped the shooter at that Nashville Christian school Monday 03-27-23, we asked if Mayor Satya Rhodes Conway looked prehistoric by slow-walking the use of police body cameras for the last four years here in Madison WI?! (We answered: like a stegosaurus slow.)
Nashville Police quickly put out two body-worn camera videos of police responding within 10 minutes and taking down the shooter in another 2 minutes (or 4, as the video claims). The citizenry could judge for themselves the professionalism of their sworn police officers.
A third-party organization called Entrepreneurs for Social Impact is quick on the draw (sorry). It it putting up this video in support of challenger Gloria Reyes. Over a split screen of the Uvalde TX and Nashville TN school shootings, it narrates:
It looks tragically the same. (Sound of shots fired.) Police responding to a school shooter on a shooting spree. Calls for help and the police respond. Body cameras tell the truth. Let’s protect every Madisonian. Let’s protect our police officers. Satya doesn’t support body cameras.
Blaska’s Bottom Line: Know who else is opposed to police-worn body cameras? Madison’s blame-the-cops Hard Left.

The left doesn’t want police body cameras, school SRO’s pictures of arrested people. They will want more gun control laws(which the local DA’s office won’t prosecute). All of this and more after a daytime shooting and murder at a low income housing building where the suspects were both charged with “felon in possession of a firearm”. I wonder if we will ever see the camera footage from the parking lot cameras and will the DA prosecute the gun law violations?

True, though in Madison it doesn’t matter because the compliant local media will say nothing that undermines prog ideology and will do their best to protect the socialist cow in the mayor’s office no matter how obviously her policies contradict reality or endanger the populace.

I think Bob is correct in saying that Satya does not want our Police to wear cameras as this would help show the Police side of the story. I believe that it would help to have all the camera footage downloaded for future use if required.
Just like the DNA, the camera does not lie. To really prove what happened in any incident, let Facts as shown by the camera be submitted to a candid world.

Which is exactly why big media suppressed the full footage of the Kyle Rittenhouse incident under the guise that it was too graphic. Had they shown all of it, most people would have concluded that he was completely justified in firing on scumbags intent on beating him senseless or worse. Pushing the narrative that he was a racist vigilante was more important than the truth.
