Still bad-mouths police one year
after Jacob Blake riots.
Lest we forget, the district attorney of Kenosha County exonerated the police officer who shot Jacob Blake. Police were responding to a call from the unmarried mother of his three children that Blake was stealing her car with the children inside. He had previously been charged with felony third-degree sexual assault * and two misdemeanors against that woman. (More here.) (* Later dropped in return for a guilty plea on the two misdemeanors.)
Yet today, the one-year anniversary of the 08-23-20 shooting of a man who was going for his knife, WI Gov. Tony Evers badmouths police and parrots the Leftist conspiracy theory that America is institutionally and systemically racist.

“We are grateful Jacob has survived his injuries. We know Jacob, his kids and family will have and will face challenges they never thought they would have to endure.” — Gov. Tony Evers.
And:
“Wisconsin has taken important steps to increase transparency in use of force incidents, limit the use of chokeholds … [et cetera]. We must remain resolved in addressing the systemic racism and inequities black Wisconsinites face ever day.” — Gov. Tony Evers.
Fully one year later, the Democrat(ic) governor still has not changed his tune. On the night of 23 August 2020 — with Kenosha already burning — without waiting for the facts to be determined, the Democrat fanned the flames of anti-police violence:
“Jacob Blake was shot in the back multiple times, in broad daylight, in Kenosha. Kathy and I join his family, friends and neighbors in hoping earnestly that he will not succumb to his injuries. While we do not have all the details yet, what we know for certain is he is not the first Black man or person to have been shot or injured or mercilessly killed at the hands of individuals in law enforcement in our state or in our country.”
Evers has learned nothing
The governor of Wisconsin could issue such a statement even after Kenosha’s district attorney, also a Democrat, determined:
“No charges will be filed against officer who shot Jacob Blake.”

The D.A. reached that conclusion upon an independent investigation conducted by former Madison WI police chief Noble Wray, a black man. he found, according to WTMJ TV in Milwaukee, that:
When three Kenosha police officers arrived at the home on Aug. 23, a woman told police that Blake was trying to take her kids and her car. The officers then approached Blake.
The incident escalated, and that is when the officers fired Tasers at Blake. According to Wray’s report, [police officer] Shesky noticed that Blake pulled the wires from the Taser probes, writing in his police report “he had never seen anyone do that before.” The officer says it appeared the taser had no effect on Blake.
Blake then tried to get into the vehicle in question. As noted before by authorities, Blake was allegedly armed with a knife during the incident.
Wray writes that it was clear to Shesky that even allowing Blake, “armed with a knife,” to get into a vehicle would be “dangerous for the public and the child,” Wray quoted from Shesky’s report.
Wray writes in Sheskey words he “feared that Blake was going to stab him, and he could not retreat because the child could be harmed, taken hostage, or abducted by Blake.”
We’ve known all this since Noble Wray’s report was released on 01-05-21 — eight months ago!
For further study: “Is Tony Evers anti-police? The evidence is growing.”
Blaska’s Bottom Line: Tony Evers is politically responsible (if not morally) for that 16-year-old kid, Kyle Rittenhouse, who shot three rioters, two fatally, in supposed defense of property amidst a BLM riot. Tony Evers could have urged calm then. Wisconsin’s governor could have urged resposible behavior today. Instead, he framed critical race theory into an official proclamation.
That’s more like it.

Speaking of Rittenhouse, I noticed that the Kenosha prosecutors asked if they could introduce a video into evidence of Rittenhouse watching a video and commenting on how he’d like to shoot the people in the video. And just in case a judge might rule that it cannot be introduced in his trial, because it’s prejudicial, they showed it on TV so that every potential juror would see it anyway.

The prosecutors should be reprimanded, removed from office and lose their license if they did that.

Well must be nice to have 24/7/365 armed protection for both you and your wife. I wonder if Tony would feel the same if someone tried to hurt his wife. Would he be sooo.. quick to question the actions of the police officer who was the one who defended Tony’s wife who was say at a park playing say I don’t know, pickleball.

I don’t know how any police officer can support Democrats at this point. They’ve made their contempt known.

“A few days later Lenin issued his famous April Theses, which echoed the orders that he had sent from Zurich. He treated the Bolsheviks’ minority status as temporary, the product of a misunderstanding: “It must be explained to the masses that the Soviet of Workers’ Deputies is the only possible form of revolutionary government.” He showed his scorn for democracy, dismissing the idea of a parliamentary republic as “a retrograde step.” He called for the abolition of the police, the army and the bureaucracy, as well as the nationalization of all land and all banks.”

Sound familiar? Democrats are Bolsheviki Communists. It is past time to treat them as the threat they are.

Again, I say that Tony should put his money where his mouth is. Tony, do away with your private security detail and that for your wife as well. Go out into the public eye to restaurants, bars, filling stations, grocery stores without a security detail. In other words, be like the rest of us slobs who don’t have an armed security detail to protect us and our families.
But you don’t care about us! You think your way more important than the rest of us! Someday the …. will hit the fan and you’ll be out on your own to fend for yourself. I really doubt that those assigned to protect you, who know what kind of a person you really are, will do so at the risk of their own lives.

Re “progressive”, I have a friend who likes to point out that these people have made a career out of finding ways to name all kinds of things exactly the opposite of what they really are.
