bail out murder suspects
Devonere Johnson, 28, Gregg James Jr., 23, and William Shanley, 25, today (07-06-2020) were charged in Dane County Circuit Court with threatening to injure or accuse a person of a crime after allegedly making threats at an unnamed State Street bar on June 23, the Wisconsin State Journal is reporting.

Johnson, a local activist who also goes by the name Yeshua Musa, is also charged in a separate case for allegedly demanding money the day before at The Coopers Tavern, 20 W. Mifflin St. [“KG” is aka “Sire Gq” — real name Marquon Clark]. Johnson and James also face federal charges. James is also charged with looting Goodman’s Jewelers. KG, Sire Gq, Marquon Clark is a “person of interest” in the fire bombing of the CCB. The socialists want them free as a bird. No word whether Comrade Nichols agrees.
No word from Mayor Satya’s office if she still wants Yeshua freed.
Johnson and James came into the State Street bar on June 22 with a boom box-style stereo playing loud music with explicit lyrics. When the bar’s owners, a husband and wife, asked them to turn it down, they refused and then refused to leave and threatened the woman, with Johnson allegedly saying, “I can do whatever I want, we got (another bar) shut down and we’ll do the same to you.” The woman then called police, who escorted them out of the bar.

I do not understand the Bail laws here in Wisconsin but from what I can tell, there bail was donated legally. While I do not like that they are free again to run, or commit further hari kari it is within their rights. Good luck Madison. I am sure those ankle bracelets will stop them.

Gotcha, Balboa, Yes, bail is a right reserved for all. The issue here is who’s posting it and why? These are thugs as evidenced by prior public records. The point is, we should be just as afraid of the folks who manipulated their bail as the miscreants themselves….

It was not so much that I like the idea of them being out, unfortunately nothing we can do if someone or some entity posts bail for a person. just have to wait for them to commit further crimes so maybe they get higher bail amounts or held with without bail. which is very unsettling, good luck Madison.

I would REALLY like to know if the woman with the dog in the video of Johnson being arrested, has been charged with anything. I was amazed at the patience the police showed as she got all right in the way as they were trying to deal with a person who did NOT want to be dealt with. Her unwanted presence could have caused severe harm to anyone present, and she should be held to account for interfering with the police in the performance of their duty.
