Four Madison teens — two 14-year-old girls, a 14-year-old boy and a 16-year-old girl — were arrested Wednesday afternoon for driving recklessly around town in a stolen car, Madison police said. …
“One of the 14-year-old girls said her arrest “Didn’t matter,” and the GPS bracelet she was wearing because of a previous stolen car arrest didn’t mean anything, said police spokesman Joel DeSpain.
“She said she would be released soon without any consequences.”
An officer told the juveniles during the booking process at the Juvenile Reception Center they should seek employment so someday a car could be purchased.
“The other 14-year-old girl said they don’t steal cars due to the lack of money, they just don’t like to walk,” DeSpain said.
“The son of the car’s owner showed up to get the car, and he wanted to know if there had been any arrests,” DeSpain said. “He was told yes, and that some of those involved had been arrested in the past for the exact same offense.
“The son indicated he didn’t like how people were just let go by the system.”

Speaking of DA Dizzy Izzy, I note there’s an outdoor advertising (aka billboards) campaign extolling the virtues of the DA’s office. Any ideas of the funding mechanism? His re-election committee? Excess cash in the DA’s budget?

“MIDTOWN: Recovered/Stolen Auto – 5:13 p.m. Officers observed a stolen vehicle near McKenna/Raymond Rd. A stop was conducted and two passengers exited (the vehicle, occupied by additional subjects, took off). The two passengers were arrested. The vehicle was stopped again and two additional subjects were arrested. Suspect #1 (14-year-old AAM) was charged with operating a motor vehicle without consent. Suspect #2 (14-year-old AAF) was charged with party to the crime of OMVWOC and a pending capias/warrant. Suspect #3 (14-year-old AAF) was charged with party to the crime of OMVWOC. Suspect #4 (16-year-old AAF) was charged with party to the crime of OMVWOC and a pending capias/warrant.”
I’m thinking of leaving my car in the driveway with the keys inside while I wait inside with a gun in hopes of tempting one of those little thugs to take it for a joy ride. It will be the last ride, joyful or otherwise, he/she will ever take.

In a strange twist of fate, I’m starting to believe the School to Prison Pipeline meme slobbered by FreeDUMB Inc, et al.
With restorative justice, race-metered discipline, BEP, and whatever other I’m Victim Hear Me Roar! idiocies are in the workings, there appears to be no consequences for the deviant behavior of miscreants while they’re in school.
Thinking nothing they do has ramifications, where’s the incentive to for normal (read: non-criminal) conduct? This can’t help but seep into young people’s lives on their free time.
There was a time when boosting a car would get you’s sent to reform school. No more, it’s a freakin’ mockery; they turn 18 with the mindset that criminal behavior is, at best, insignificantly non-punishable, and, at worst, acceptable.
Thanks to feverish hand-wringing/deep brow furrowing White Lefty Guilt driving policy, this will get worse before it gets better.
And it won’t get better until the car thefts/car-jackings/home-invasions/strong-arm robberies/shots fired incidents by the We Can’t Do ANYTHING Wrong Because Our Needs Aren’t Being Met crowd expand to include the safe Lefty enclaves of Maple Bluff/University Heights/Seminole Forest/Shorewood/Vilas/The Highlands/Near West/Near East Side neighborhoods.

The other day just after a Progressive black man blurted out that Trump was a racist in a conversation and he was immediately challenged by a conservative black man to provide proof of that statement. Then I saw that very Progressive black man get in the face of the black conservative that was wearing a MAGA hat and utter these words in a very angry manner, “Anyone who supports Trump is a white supremacist.”; I shit you not. The small crowd of people, both lefties and righties, that were having a genuine civil actually non-political conversation busted a gut laughing at the idiot, then he yelled at everyone and said “It’s true!” as he turned and stomped away. These extreme Progressives are so damned brainwashed that they can’t see the idiocy of their thinking.

Why shouldn’t little black thugs feel entitled in this town? (Interesting that they discovered this fact so early in life.) Same for the “homeless” who feel entitled to set up housekeeping on State Street & Library Mall.
Simple truth, observed by others —- when a society bans balloons and straws while providing free needles for illegal drug users………..there is no hope. Enjoy the decline, just keep your distance from proles, regardless their tribe or race. No point in trying to trying to change direction. We’re getting the society we deserve. I don’t know about the rest of you’s, but if I’d gotten caught boosting a vehicle when I was that age (1969), the iron-clad grounding that my Dear 93 1/3 Year Old Father (a career Probation/Parole Agent) would have immediately enacted would approach being lifted come this January.
