Following the school to prison pipeline
16 year old is not a student?
4:15 pm. Thursday 02-27-2020 — East High School staff asked the suspect (16-year-old male) to leave the premises as he was not a student at the school. The suspect became confrontational with a security officer and hit him several times on the top of the head and once in the face. Police arrived on scene and issued the suspect citations for trespass and battery.
10:09 pm. Thursday 02-27-2020 — Police were dispatched to West Towne Mall for alarms going off at the Sprint kiosk. Upon seeing police, two teenage male suspects dropped a safe they had stolen from the kiosk and fled the scene.
