Republicans can’t win with their paranoids.
My old boss Tommy Thompson is now saying what his itinerant speech writer blogged this week: Wisconsin is no longer a purple, battleground state. Worse, neither is Texas, apparently. Or Georgia and other states in the Deep South. We’re losing Iowa and Kansas, fer gawdsakes!
The President’s worst legacy is not the Iran War or inflationary tariffs but undermining our democratic institutions. The paranoid President created a party of mini-me paranoids. His Stolen Election Lie continues to populate party rubber rooms across the nation. Rather than analyze what went wrong when we lose, Trump’s derangees are blaming everyone but their mesmerizer in chief for the November 2026 mid-term debacle: 1) RINOs. 2) stolen election cheaters. 3) the voters themselves. When you can’t learn from your mistakes …
Republicans could win elections again — perhaps in my remaining lifetime. But first they have to get past conspiracy kooks like this anonymous loser from Badger State Resistance who blames the GOP “establishment.” News for you, bottom feeder: Donald Trump IS the Republican establishment.
“When I see videos like this I assume they are spoofs or parodies,” laments responsible Minocqua Republican Joe Handrick. “Nobody is actually that dumb.” Except that they populate Trump rallies fooling the President into thinking Canadian statehood is pure genius. Like Typhoid Annie, Badger State Resistance guy is one of many Trump Derangement Syndrome carriers sickening voters.
Just today, Trump named the human reptile, Steven Miller, to replace one of his few sane voices, Susie Wiles, as chief of staff. The man is beyond rehabilitation. His crazy is baked in like porcelain on the toilet bowl.

Making more RINOs every day
Nixon had an enemies list but none were Republicans. A partial roll call of Trump’s enemies: Mitt Romney, John Cornyn, Thom Tillis, Bill Cassidy, Mike Pence, Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, Mike Gallagher, Robin Vos, and (depending on the day) Fox News.
Someone tell MAGA that it can lose elections without the help of cheaters. Stupidity and avarice will do the trick. Throwing Sen. John Cornyn off the bus in favor of Ken Paxton — impeached by his own party — is Caesarism. Yet, just days after the November 3 shellacking, the party’s legions of election deniers are sticking pins into worn corkboards and connecting them with grocer’s string. I figured it out! THE NUMBERS DON’T ADD UP IN TEXAS!

Tell you what, mad tinfoil hatters, when Texas Gov. Greg Abbott contests the results, you might have a case. He hasn’t and you don’t.
Channeling Trump’s election denial
Trump pulls old ‘Okie Dokie’ on Democrats!
“Trump pulled the old okie doke on the Democrats. He knew they were going to cheat and stuff ballots with the mail-in ballots again … with the machines from China, so he just let it happen and put in surveillance. … Then he’s going to go back and find out how many people voted illegally and how the states let them vote illegally and then these elections are going to be null and void. That’s what I’m hearing.” — Tim Edwards, Hudson High School (Florida) Class of 1994

Blaska’s Bottom Line: The problem with populism is that it caters to the lowest common denominator. People like Mr. Okie Dokie have plunged my Republican party to its lowest ebb since Watergate. Party leaders need to tell stupid to STFU.
