The previous occupant cut and ran from Afghanistan with local allies hanging in desperation onto the landing gear of aircraft lifting off from Bagram AFB. Wouldn’t that air force base have been useful when Donald Trump unleashed his unholy hell on Iran’s nuclear sites Saturday 06-21-25?
What a contrast is this President from Barack Obama who tried to buy peace with bundles of currency that only financed snake nests throughout the Middle East. (As Scott Walker explains.)

Blaska’s Bottom Line: President Trump promised to stop never-ending wars. He just put up the Stop Sign for one that has lasted 46 years. There will be flare-ups, some attempts at asymmetrical revenge. Dare Iran touch a hair on a tourist’s head and Tehran will tremble like Gaza. The axis of evil just got a litle smaller.

A pile of crap would be a gang of medieval religious zealots wielding nukes in the Middle East and aiming them at Israeli and American targets. Which is what we’d get eventually if Biden/Kamala had been elected. Perhaps a pipe dream, but I hope the ayatollahs get thrown out on their faces by a civilian uprising. If that happens, the Middle East will be a better place.
Iran has now gone on record indicating it is considering various methods to use against American and Israeli targets. This is in response to the Trump administration’s destruction of Iranian nuclear facilities. By the way, Mordecai, who pulled the U.S. out of the Iran nuclear treaty in 2018? None other than our favorite 34 count convicted felon who now inhabits the Oval Office.

If you think for a second that Iran negotiated that treaty in good faith, you are more far gone than the Squad types in Congress. Appeasement doesn’t work with barbarians who disregard their own lives out of fanatical bloodlust. That treaty was a pile of sh!t from the beginning.
When a mentally disturbed teenager threatens to get a gun and shoot up a school, only an idiot allows them the opportunity. Iran has been making these same threats for decades and the sane adults in the room just denied them a formidable weapon. Denying that to be a good thing takes a special level of willful detachment from reason.

Are there dangers involved? Of course. But there were even greater risks to continue “bargaining” in the bazaar with Persians who don’t want to actually make a deal. They won’t be able to hide their fingerprints, or Russia’s. Considering that they already threatened sleep cells but ended up giving us advance warning of the attack on Qatar so nobody would get hurt, they seem to be of a different frame of mind these days. I wonder why.
If Iran attacks Americans on their own soil, it will be open season on every last ayatollah and officer in the IRGC. And Trump will make zero effort to restrain Bibi and Mossad. The Iranian regime will not survive.
Iran attacked the USS Samuel B. Roberts in 1988. Reagan responded by setting their oil rigs ablaze and sending half their navy to Davey Jones’s locker. Trump does not have that much restraint and Iran now knows it.
