No soup for you!

Trump to Zelensky!

Pretty certain that no one is waiting for Blaska to weigh in on Friday afternoon’s Days of Our Lives soap opera, live from the Oval Office. The hyper-opinionated Head Groundskeeper has no particular expertise in foreign policy. We have not dodged enemy fire, except in the rhetorical, political sense. We have been kicked out of a few saloons in our time but never given the heave-ho from the White House, like Volodymyr Zelensky was on 02-28-25.

No signing ceremony. No press conference. Missed out on the cheese plate, charcuterie board, and crab louie salad. We’re guessing Zelensky’s parking wasn’t validated, either.

Reaction is following the predictable partisan divide. So good on Zelensky for doing Bret Baier on Fox News while Mark O’Rubio visited Kaitlyn Collins at CNN. The Secretary of State contended that Zelensky has been tough in the negotiations even off camera.

Is this Trump presidency open enough for you, First Amendment buffs? (!!!)

Zelensky was kicked to the curb

 What is the end game?

One does wonder if J.D. Vance intended to box Zelensky’s ears all along. The hero of Ukraine tried responding that he is fighting Russia so the U.S. doesn’t have to. But give Trump some reluctant credit. There is no way Ukraine beats Russia at this point unless Europe steps up its game. Finland, the Baltics, and Poland hate Russia almost as much as the average Ukrainian but they’re not going to put boots on Ukrainian soil — NATO solidarity be damned — and risk their own invasion, which really would trigger WW3. By the same token, Russia is bleeding itself (and North Korea) dry trying to defeat Ukraine. Putin does not hold all the cards, either.

It’s a murderous war of attrition that rivals WW1 trench warfare. In any negotiated settlement, Zelensky would likely lose territory and forego his NATO membership pin. He’s not ready to yield to the real dictator, Putin. Whatever concessions Russia might offer, Z is right that Putin can’t be trusted. That is what he was trying to say in the Oval Office. But … but … but, the metals mining deal would put Americans on the ground in that country. Like the voluntary hostages in Godfather 1 who lent themselves out during negotiations b/w rival crime families to assure no bloodshed.

When Vance said it was time for diplomacy, Zelensky asked if it was the same kind of diplomacy that Putin regularly violates

So, both sides walked. Reagan walked out of Reykjavik. Good negotiators walk out of bad deals.

Blaska’s Bottom Line: O’Rubio (😛) asks who else has a better plan? No one at this point. Zelensky doesn’t trust Putin or Trump. Assurances? Isn’t that the paper Chamberlain was waving at Heston Aerodrome? Policies change with new leaders. The Confederacy was hoping McClellan would defeat Lincoln in 1864 and get its own cease fire. Rutherford Hayes ended Reconstruction. Eisenhower went to Korea. This RINO says Russia and Ukraine is even more Europe’s problem than ours. They need to solve it. We can’t.

Screw the UN!
Could Judge Judy adjudicate this?

The Gotch would’ve LUVed to see (say it with me) President Donald J. Trump orchestrate an epic @$$-kickin’/beat down on Zelensky like Little Bill (the late great Gene Hackman in The Unforgiven) did on Sir Richard Harris’ English Bob (FF to 08:30).

That a keyboard warrior like you threatens Zelenskyy with an ass-kickin’ is beyond pathetic. When Russia invaded 3 years ago and the world expected Ukraine to be quickly smashed, Zelenskyy refused Biden’s offer to go into exile (“The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride.”) and his wife and kids stayed put. You are little more than another Trump gelding (along with Rubio and Graham) without standing to critique Zelenskyy’s dress or utter his name.

The Gotch threatened Zelenskyy with an @$$-kicking? The comfort you display with such utter cluelessness is troubling. There a 3rd grader near to parse his comment and provide an understanding you’re clearly incapable of determining on your own?

Let’s take an unbiased observation at what transpired in this sub thread.

      1. Tom Sails writes that he would have liked to see someone “kicked [Zelenskyy’s] azz into the limo”. He’s welcome to his opinion.

      2. In reply to Tom Sails, The Gotch writes that he would have liked to have seen “President Donald J. Trump orchestrate an epic @$$-kickin’/beat down on Zelensky”. He too is welcome to his opinion.

      3. In reply to The Gotch, I knew Blaska before he was a RINO claimed that The Gotch threatened Zelenskyy. He too is welcome to his opinion but he’s not welcome to his own facts. There was no threat from The Gotch towards Zelenskyy, none, period. It was a brazenly false twisted claim.

      4. In reply to I knew Blaska before he was a RINO’s FALSE claim, Blaska appears to praise the false claim as “world class beat down of key board dumfukkery”.

      5. Then Blaska posted an ad hominem targeting Tom Sails.

Someone please correct me if I’m wrong; but, isn’t making a verifiable false claim about another commenter when the facts are staring everyone in the face the true “keyboard dumfukkery” plus Blaska posting ad hominems like that one is out of the ordinary. Something’s not right.

      Conclusions
      1. I think someone hacked David Blaska’s commenting account, this is out of the ordinary for David.

      2. I’ve read a lot of what I knew Blaska before he was a RINO has written around here and it’s my opinion that he IS a brazen LIAR which makes him an imbecile and his comment in this sub thread proves my point.

I think apologies may be appropriate.

Yes, I know this exceeds the 250 word limit by 60 words. There was no way to condense it more.

FWIW, Ukraine has been legendarily one of the MOST CORRUPT countries in the known Universe.

Shorty must’ve thought (say it with me) President Donald J. Trump was as weakly inclined, and as easily bent over, as despicable Lefty and whoever was feeding DementiaJoKe his lines.

Everyone knows the sawed off runt wants to come off as a Freedom Fighter, but to come to a high profile/stakes negotiation dressed for Deer Camp confirms either he’s an imbecilic rube or his advisors are; likely both.

Gotch, Corruption in Eastern Europe as well as the entirety of the former Soviet Union is rampant. I know, I’ve observed it first hand in Kyiv during one of my trips with the wife. Russia is as corrupt and run like a crime syndicate. Ukraine is a natiuon under attack and has lost many, many civilians as well as many of its warfighters. It’s hell over there right now.

What does it matter what Zelenskyy wears? He is always dressed like that – good grief. Would you tell some Arab nation leaders to wear three-piece suits instead of what they traditionally wear? And, who cares how tall he is – what’s the point of mentioning that? Such pettiness on your part. Trump & Vance behaved like jerks. Trump is what I call a “last worder.” ALWAYS has to be the one saying the last thing. I grew up with a last worder – a bully just like Trump. So childish. They looked like complete fools. And, no, I’m not a democrat.

Clothes make the man, this was high stakes and an (IMO) unsuccessfully weak attempt to come off as Every Man; Senator John Fetterman’s…um…unconventional attire…you good with that?

Again, Zelenskyy always dresses like that. His county is in the midst of war; I’m sure three-piece suits aren’t a high priority. Fetterman is another story totally – no comparison to Zelenskyy. What about Musk? Dresses worse than Z and is in the White House daily with people wearing suits. You good with that?

One thing Trump said that everyone can agree on: the smackdown in the Oval Office was great TV. The press should be eternally grateful that they’ve been given intimate access to the current president, especially after years of being shut out by Biden and his DEI flack, aka the poster girl for Incompetence, Ms. Jean-Pierre. They (the press) claim to value transparency; well, now they’ve got it–in spades! In Zelensky’s defense, if you’ve been used to getting your a$$ kissed for four years by an American president, the habit must be hard to break. Now he knows the script has well and truly changed and he’d better learn his lines if he wants to save what’s left of his country.

It was the most despicable foreign policy meeting in US History. Zelensky is a head of a Foreign State and was debased in front of the world by a loudmouth Trump and Vance with audience to boot. I like much of Trump’s efforts here at home, but his view of the world and arrogance make me want to vomit. And before anyone starts screaming about the money spent in Ukraine aid, make sure you research the actual amount spent. It was not $500 billion, nor was it $350 billion it was $119 billion. (source: https://www.wsj.com/world/europe/ukraine-war-cost-us-spending-9dfd903e?mod=Searchresults_pos2&page=1).

Trump bears responsibility for ending the Fri. Oval Office meeting by booting Zelensky from the proceedings prematurely. Trump is utterly incapable of tact and diplomacy. The presence of yapping yes man Vance was nauseating.

The media got it wrong. Trump did not humiliate Zelensky. The American pesident did succeed in humiliating himself and further damaging America’s standing within the international community.

See Mollie Hemingway’s analysis on why Zelensky baited the lion in his den.
Overall this is a front in the struggle between the globalists who count on America’s heretofore willingness to be last in any competition; economic, diplomatic or military. And to be the ATM for Europe’s social programs.
That tide has turned. The sooner Europe takes this to heart the better. If they won’t have babies and can’t man their military… then too bad. (What will possibly be the first Islamic state with nukes? England.)
Russia is no threat to anyone but their immediate neighbors and have been bled white by their Ukrainian misadventure. NATO is obsolete and is now the entangling alliance George Washington warned us about.
Can we address our debt, our hopelessly corrupt spending, grow our economy, shrink our government enforce our laws and police our borders we will leave Europe and China in the dust. The best of the planet will come to our welcome arms and who knows? America may become great again.

In my opinion, picking on what Zelenskyy was wearing was petty BS. It was just as much petty BS as Gregory Humphrey’s statement attacking Musk for what he wore in the Oval office, Elon Musk Should Respect Oval Office, Take Hat Off, Stop Dressing Like Trashy Juvenile These kind of petty attacks are juvenile.

We shouldn’t judge people by what they look like, we should judge them by their words which are a portal to their character.
