A most delightful pissing match

Between the two previous Madison mayors

In this corner, Dave Cieslewicz, who defeated Paul Soglin, who was mayor in 2003. In the other corner, Paul Soglin, who returned the favor by defeating Dave Cieslewicz, then mayor, in 2011. Dave supports the $22 million bailout of city government on the fall ballot; Paul urges a NO vote and blames (partially) Cieslewicz for needing it.

But Dude, you were mayor!

The notion that Rhodes-Conway needs to be lectured on effective lobbying by Paul Soglin is just ludicrous. He had eight years to stop or to fix the problems that have now backed up on his successor. He failed, or maybe he just didn’t try hard enough. Dave Cieslewicz

What would you have done, Bigshot?

Proving that in desperation people will shame themselves in an effort to defame others. Paul Soglin

My money’s on Hizzoner da Mare, Mr. Soglin. I’ve heard his presentation and did some fact checking. He’s spot on.
Mayor Bike Shorts is in lockstep with SRC. I just don’t know how he continues to call himself a moderate Democrat when he genuflects for the mayor.

Lest we forget: Soglin’s margin of victory over former Mayor BikeShorts was (heh!) neatly explained by ~ 1000 write-in votes for former Über Alder (and The Gotch pal) Thuy Pham-Remmele.

Lest we forget, 2.0: Former Mayor BikeShorts never forgave Pham-Remmele for an August 2007 Orchard Ridge MS meeting with some >750…um…spirited residents who expressed their…er…unfiltered feelings to both he and former Police Chief Nobel Wray…IN_NO_UNCERTAIN_TERMS

Shortly after that, (15 years ago, as we speak) The Gotch became a Blaska Fan!

It’s crazy DC ended his political career by deriding “unelected citizens” (trying to make sense of “visually compatible”) but is perfectly content for unelected citizens to run the country while he pretends that Joe Biden is “sharp as a tack”.

Not caring if people like him is Soglin’s superpower.

Wait a minute has Sue Baumann weighed in?

What unelected people are running the country? What are their jobs?

Good question maybe (not that kind of) Dr. Jill Biden knows.

Let The Gotch get this straight: DementiaJoKe’s too Alzheimer-Addled to RUN for POTUS, but he’s…um…with it enough to BE POTUS?

My my; LaLaLoopyLoonyLeftyLand ILlogic never fails to amuse…in a monumentally cringe-inducing manner, am I right?

          Anywho, it gets worse.

DementiaJoKe Stumble/Bumble/Mumbles his way through a particularly painful slobbering, where he implies the very_much_alive Gabrielle Giffords is not longer with us.

And an unelected candidate running for the Presidency.

The vice president is “unelected”? What are we missing?

Honestly the Democrats can use any “process” they want to come up with a candidate but spare us the bullshit about saving Democracy.

The Democrats are saving the Oligarchy. Bernie Sanders admits this.

All I see is a lot of name calling, but no one is telling me why I should vote for tRump. Or; is it just a “concept” of a candidate that you have.

So now city is threatening us by taking away services because of the 65 MILLION spending spree to ride a bus from Sun Prairie to West Town mall. Nice. Should have put Biden in charge: “DON’T ” “DON’T ” OH WAIT THAT DID NOT WORK. Nevermind
