This weekend, the WaPo moved a few inches to the right:
“Initially appearing reasonable, the [Hunter plea] deal turned out to include peculiar details suggesting critics might have been justified to suspect that Mr. Biden was being given special treatment,” the editorial board wrote. “Initially appearing reasonable” to treat evading up to $1.5 million in taxes as only a misdemeanor? Now that’s prescription-strength Denial! Moving on to The Big Guy, the WaPo equivocates:
“So far, the record suggests President Biden’s behavior was not spotless, but also not criminal.”

“Goalposts have been moved yet again. Joe is not a crook, and WaPo wants you to know it.”
Blaska’s Bottom Line: The WaPost’s new partial, limited hang out (to use Watergate lingo), suggests the need to create a Blaska Policy Werkes continuum of criminal responsibility. The task before the faceless bureaucrats: Where, on a five-stage continuum, would “Not Spotless” land between Innocent and Lock ‘em Up!?
