Persons of goodwill must stand against this madness. Political violence, especially against churches, is reprehensible.

Spoiled brats wanting to make their mark on the world.
They might as well say: “Free speech is for me but not for thee.”
I wonder what would the press say if they did this to a Jewish Temple or a Muslim Mosque
Again, if you even disturb and bald eagle or a golden eagle nest, let alone destroy an egg or kill a chick, you can get big time fines and jail time as the egg is considered it’s an eagle even though it has not hatched.
ya, especially a mosque. Then you’d hear charges of islamophobia…..

5 weapon violations in 4 days? Good job good job, great that one news source protects the names of the guilty but usually spews the names of the victims. Oh wait, the ones who steal, shoot are now the victims. Skewedmuch?

Here come the barbarians. Catholic churches might do well to bar their doors until this blows over.

They’d do even better to follow Christ’s example of cleansing the temple. When he saw the moneychangers defiling the holiest of places, he didn’t try to reason with them (“You know, some might consider your activities somewhat inappropriate.”). Instead, he made a scourge and drove them out, upending the tables on which they conducted their business. For every church that’s defiled, one of Madison’s sacrosanct precincts (e.g., Planned Parenthood Offices, the Women’s Studies Dept. at the UW) ought to receive similar treatment. Even Christ didn’t always turn the other cheek.

I can’t condone retaliation like that, as I don’t see the moneychangers in the temple story as justification for the same. Sure, drive them out of churches if they disrupt Mass, peacefully if possible and by force if necessary. And have churchgoers defend themselves if the savages become violent. And then send the authorities after them and serve up the restraining orders and sue the living piss out of them. But as for defacing their institutions…well, we both know how the local and larger media would run that story.

Now it’s 11 weapon violations since June 27th. Anyone in city hall aware of this ? Or heads buried in the sand?
