Hillary for prison!

‘Dirty trick for the ages’

Where is the RICO Act when you need it? The wiretaps? Paging Donnie Brasco! Offer witness protection to protect the next Vince Foster? (Jeffrey Epstein died for her sins.) Anything to penetrate that on-going criminal conspiracy, the Clinton crime family of New York. The Wall Street Journal observes:

The Russia-Trump collusion narrative of 2016 and beyond was a dirty trick for the ages, and now we know it came from the top — candidate Hillary Rodham Clinton. That was the testimony Friday by 2016 Clinton campaign manager Robby Mook in federal court. … Mr. Mook testified as a witness in special counsel John Durham’s trial of Michael Sussmann, the Clinton lawyer accused of lying to the FBI. …

[UPDATE: A Washington D.C. jury found Sussman Not Guilty. The Wall Street Journal opines:

The verdict is less important than what we learned about the false Clinton claims about the ties between the Trump campaign and Russia’s Alfa Bank. The story was a concoction from the start, spread to the press by investigators-for-hire Fusion GPS and Clinton sources. We learned that Hillary Clinton personally approved leaking the false claim to a reporter, and the campaign and Mrs. Clinton then tweeted the press report approvingly.]

The Hildabeast

→ FBI doing an internal review of possible misconduct in Trump-Russia probe for withholding evidence from the FISA court. (More here.)

Prosecutors  presented evidence that Mr. Sussmann worked with cyber-researchers and opposition-research firm Fusion GPS to produce the claims on behalf of the Clinton campaign and to feed them to the FBI. … Mr. Mook said Mrs. Clinton was asked about the plan and approved it. …

In short, the Clinton campaign created the Trump-Alfa allegation, fed it to a credulous press that failed to confirm the allegations but ran with them anyway, then promoted the story as if it was legitimate news. The campaign also delivered the claims to the FBI, giving journalists another excuse to portray the accusations as serious and perhaps true.

Law professor Jonathan Turley picks up the thread:

On July 28, 2016, then-CIA Director John Brennan briefed President Obama on Hillary Clinton’s alleged plan to tie Donald Trump to Russia as “a means of distracting the public from her use of a private email server.” Obama reportedly was told how Clinton allegedly approved “a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisers to vilify Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security service.” …

The date of Brennan’s warning is important: It was three days before the FBI’s collusion investigation began. … Clinton not only approved using the false Alpha Bank claim but personally helped to portray it as an established fact, tweeting: “Computer scientists have apparently uncovered a covert server linking the Trump Organization to a Russian-based bank.”

Turley concludes.: “While most media ignored the testimony of Clinton’s former campaign manager in the Sussmann trial, it adds to a damning record on how the Clinton campaign was behind arguably the most successful disinformation campaign in American political history.”

The Wall Street Journal’s Bottom Line: “Vladimir Putin never came close to doing as much disinformation damage.”

When will the mainstream news media notice?

Four years ago my adult son’s work transferred him to Madison, WI. (up by Canada somewhere) This made for rather one-sided conversations on the phone and the Portal ™ Video Caller. He knew the people and places in his home town, but no one here knew the first thing about Madison. So, I did what anyone would do in the computer age, I cyber-stalked you and your city online. I watched the local news on your TV stations, read your newspapers, and spent countless hours “driving” your streets on Google Street View (til I knew my way around), all on my computer.

In April of 2020, in an on-line search for info on the Arboretum Murders, I came across Blaska Policy Werkes and life changed a little bit. I discovered an unrepentant, (thus unforgiven), Conservative Warrior detailing the daily goings-on in an unvarnished way, free from the underlying “P.C. and wokeness” of the other media. He relentlessly went after the Left’s “third rails” with total impunity. Backing him up was an (unpaid) army of “boots on the ground” commenter/reporters expounding and expanding on the musings of the “Squire”. I Was Impressed!!! Two months later I created an account and made a comment, (my first, ever, anywhere) What my comments lacked in profundity they made up in “persistence”. One of my proudest life achievements is that I never attracted the attention of the “Pest Control Guy” with the sprayer. My appreciation for David Blaska continues to grow. He has made me a much more sarcastic person, and his writings have really upped my satire game. And, I cannot express just HOW MUCH I have enjoyed interacting with you all on the comments board, whether you are like-minded, near like-minded, or terminally blue-pilled with no mind at all. I feel like I’m covered if I go to Heaven, or not, because I’ll now have friends in both places.

Now, my son is being transferred back home. On Thursday my wife and I will make the day-long drive to Madison, so that on Saturday I can drive the U-Haul truck back. Thus, I’m taking “MY dog in YOUR fight”, and going back home. Though I’ll continue to be a faithful reader of the “Werkes”, and the comments, MY commenting on YOUR local and state politics would be weird, and frankly, presumptuous.

One more thing— I’m not gonna make this trip, and then just go back empty-handed. I want some local cheese to share with family back home. I know about your “designer” cheese shops, and I’m not going to spend $15 bucks for something so small that it would barely bait a rat-trap. I’m looking for food, not an investment. So I’m thinking “local favorite” from a grocery store. This is a topic driven blog, not a message board. If you think you have the answer, just tack it “sneaky-like” to a regular comment in the next couple of days

Example: “The 1619 Project is a steaming pile of divisive horsesh*t”. (#BillyBob’s Cheese (Hy-Vee)

Go to Woodman’s Grocery and buy all the Hook’s aged cheddar you can carry. Not cheap anywhere, but Woodman’s is reasonable. 7 year is a “gateway cheese” (It took me up to 10 year in no time.) If you are flush you can go for the 15 year, but I think the 10 year is enough.

Hardly. Considering the Blogge Idiot slobbers breathtakingly illiterate, laughably unintelligible, off-topic gibberish which NEVER improves on silence, and on a regular basis, your contributions are (IMO) positively Churchillian by comparison.

Cheese? Hooks’ is great too, but (IMO) it starts-n-ends with Carr Valley; 4th Generation/World Champion Cheese Maker/owner Sid Cook (a personal friend of The Gotch) IS cheese!

You probably won’t have time to visit the outlets in Mazo or Sauk City, or the marvelous Home Factory north of Lime Ridge in the beautiful Western Sauk County foothills, but varieties can be found at Whole Foods.

patrickmoloughlin is right when he suggests it ain’t cheap, but The Best shouldn’t be; as he also suggests, go for the Aged Cheddar!

You’ll need something with which to wash it down, so pick up a case or two of Spotted Cow, too.

    • Thanks for all the interesting information. It can be a small world especially when we connect via this internet thingy.

My wife an I like Bucky Badger brand cheese, our favorites are the Colby or the mild Cheddar cheese. These blocks of cheese can be found in any area grocery store, they’re good quality cheese with very good flavor.

Here are some local favorites that you cannot get in Evansville. New Glarus Brewery’s Spotted Cow, it’s an area treat and they have and if you like an interesting change of pace try their fruity beers they have a few outstanding ones, Wisconsin Belgian Red, Raspberry Tart and the very, very unique Blueberry Cocoa Stout. If you like wine, there is a local winery called Wollersheim that’s got some good wines, my favorite fruity dry reds are Scarlet Fume & Domaine Du Sac, my favorite whites are Prairie Fume, Dry Riesling & White Riesling. Also while you’re here, pick up a pack or two of Johnsonville Original Brats they are far, far better than any brat I have ever had in Evansville. You could make a shopping trip out of it if you had a really large cooler.

Even though I live in a small bedroom community around Madison, Madison is unique and it has some fine qualities. Enjoy your brief visit to the Madison area.

There really are far, far too many of “those beers” to mention. Some of them were national, some were regional, some of them were local but all of them were dang cheap rot-gut beers. For nostalgia, I still grab a 12 pack of Bush once in a while; certainly not a great beer but also not a terrible beer.

Look, Richard, you are way behind the curve here. The victories in Georgia are good news in showing the party is moving past Trump. And in any case, the Sussman trial was not about Trump. It was about Hillary and the Democrats. And given the makeup of the D.C. jury and its surrounding community, its verdict only extends the perfidy to them and most of the D.C. community. In the end, these “victories” for Hillary will only be like those for Pyrrhus, a king of Epirus. She’s already been done in by them. The only issue is how much else of the hollowing out Democratic Party is on her Titanic with her as the band plays on.
