Time to get tough ‘on all the bulls**t that has destroyed our city.’
After defunding police by $120 million last year, and the resultant pooping and smash and grabbing, the mayor of San Francisco has come to Jesus.
“It’s time the reign of criminals who are destroying our city, it is time for it to come to an end,” Mayor London Breed said. “And it comes to an end when we take the steps to more aggressive with law enforcement. More aggressive with the changes in our policies and less tolerant of all the bullshit that has destroyed our city.”
What I’m proposing today and what I will be proposing in the future will make a lot of people uncomfortable and I don’t care,” she said. “At the end of the day the safety of the people of San Francisco is the most important thing to me. We are past the point where what we see is even remotely acceptable.”
Mayor Breed also supports the recall of three school board members who spent more time renaming schools than opening them to students. She also supports the recall of SF D.A. Chesa Boudin.

SF CA has been practically destroyed in slo-mo for many years.
It’s amazing how a progressive can eventually turn into a teeth-baring, growling, raging law-and-order lions when they have to face the real life consequences of their ideology. Takes ’em long enough though.

We’ve got to get rid of alders like Bennett, Conklin, Currie, Furman, Foster, Cole, Heck, Evers, Martin, who CONTINUE to want to defund MPD because regressive Dane, BLM, Urban Triag, and Freedom Inc TELL THEM TO.

Well this should be a glimmer of hope. But after a very close aquitance of mine stationed at fort mccoy currently on active duty. Reports that over half that were evacuated are not vetted, came under false names, they have routinely found actual Taliban were brought into the u.s.a and the upper are just washing their hands and releasing into the country.
In these same reports, they have schools that were setup but repeatedly vandalized with extreme islamic mantras with spray paint. They repeatedly these folks not to drink from those marvelous fountains of water … toilets.
If u think there will not be ied attacks or worse coming in retribution for so many people killed by the u.s.a you are are delusional. Meanwhile washington purposely asleep at the wheel.
The violence we are seeing now will be in addition to these radicals that want nothing to do with our melting pot.

It’s a bit of a stretch to say that progressives are abandoning the woke movement just because one mayor on the lunatic fringe is backtracking on one issue (and without admitting that the “reign of criminals who are destroying [her] city” came about directly because of her harebrained efforts to demonize and disempower law enforcement). One apostate does not a counter-revolution make. And it took the organized looting of upscale shops in Union Square–as opposed to Walgreens in less affluent neighborhoods–to make her see the light. Even fanatical ideologues can sometimes see the advantages of a strategic retreat, but they’ll never give up on their grander goals of transforming this country in to a Marxist state. Defeating them in the next election cycle is a good first step, but the ultimate goal should be to destroy them root and branch long before Obama’s third term ends.

It’s a religion with them. Don’t want to sound pessimistic, but I just don’t see Madison having an epiphany. Even if they do, they won’t admit it.
It would take a lot to change Madison at this point, and like Gary said above, who exactly will be leading that change?

Point out to them that just like Chicago, despite the progressive policies of our current county board, city council, school board and so on, these progressive polices have not reduced the amount of crime in our fair city just like they have not reduced crime in Chicago. That these progressive policies are the same progressive policies as mayor lightfoot in Chicago has adopted and one only has to look at the mess their in to see what progressivism has done for that city.
Ask them this question: Do you want to live in a SHIT HOLE?
Used to be that you could go to places like the Garfield Park neighborhood in Chicago and see the sites, experience the night life and stay in a hotel or B&B and not worry about your safety. The wife and I used to do it all the time when we were younger. Now, there is no way I would even go down there.
I used to live 45 minuets right outside the city of Chicago. I loved going down into the city to visit cousins, aunts and uncles on my moms side of the family. Wouldn’t go there now for all the tea in China.
Don’t want Madison to become the same place I left before I came here.
The writing is on the wall. This town is either going to clean up it’s act or become another Chicago. It is that simple.

Somewhat encouraging, but I’ll believe it when I see it. I visit San Francisco often enough and I couldn’t believe how much it had degenerated in such a short time last time I went through. Some areas have been spared becoming a cesspool (so far), but they are fewer and farther between. Last time I was in the area, I chatted with a local couple (that I’m certain weren’t conservative voters) that had fled the city and even they were fed up with the politics there.
