Justice by any means necessary?

Situational justice?

Duante Wright was pulled over driving a car with expired tags and had an outstanding warrant for his arrest related to aggravated armed robbery. Erick Erickson writes: “Wright would still be alive had Officer Potter not confused her gun and her taser. Wright would also still be alive had he not struggled with police.

Those statements are all true, but tribalism and outrage have degraded our ability to distinguish and discern.

Officer Potter is free on bond. Many progressives are outraged a judge would release her from jail and grant her bond. These same progressives want to end cash bail but would deny Potter her rights. The city council in Brooklyn Center fired their city manager for daring to say Officer Potter deserved due process. One council member said she voted to fire the city manager not because he deserved it, but because of what the mob would do to the councilwoman had she not voted to fire the manager.

The police officer on Capitol Hill who shot and killed Ashli Babbitt will not be prosecuted. Babbitt was … sank into QAnon conspiracies and decided to go to Washington for the election protest on January 6, 2021. … Some Trump supporters are outraged the officer who shot her will not be prosecuted. He should not be. He was defending members of Congress fleeing a mob smashing windows trying to storm Congress to stop an official act of government. …

Kim Potter should be prosecuted for her negligence, but Wright would be alive but for his actions too. Ashli Babbitt should be alive as well.  In our tribal times, we have broken our bond with truth. We have an obligation to the truth that must outweigh our obligations to our tribes.

Problem with this racist cartoon? That’s right. The motorist is not resisting!

Packing the court —  Jonathan Turley warns: House Judiciary Committee Chair Jerry Nadler, D-NY, Sen. Ed Markey, D-Mass, and others will be announcing their plan to immediately add four new justices to the Court. The number is calculated purely to give liberals a 7-6 majority on the Court. Turley: “It is about a subtle as a B-52 run.”

  1. Chief Tim Gannon of the Brooklyn Center Police Department said, “This appears to me, from what I viewed, and the officer’s reaction and distress immediately after, that this was an accidental discharge that resulted in a tragic death of Mr. Wright.”

No Chief Gannon you damn fool, this shooting wasn’t an “accidental discharge”, it was an intentional discharge of the wrong weapon, it was pure negligence on the part of the officer.

Had Daunte Wright followed the officers instructions he would still be alive today; but nooooo, the anti-cop culture in the black community has instilled in the minds of ignorant people that they should be able to resist arrest without any consequences. Wright is #2 on the root cause of his own death list, #1 on the root cause list is the irrational culture that taught Wright that resisting arrest is acceptable behavior, #3 is the pure negligence of the police officer. Wright was a stupid person that directly contributed to his own demise.

I’m really, really sick and tired of all the bull shit involved when the police try to arrest a black person. When the police are figuratively hog-tied from doing their jobs the crime rate will increase and what will follow is a rapid increase of criminals being shot dead on the spot by people protecting themselves and since the social justice warriors are actively enabling (black) criminals and demonizing anyone that kills a (black) criminal guess who the these social justice imbeciles will go after.

Stupid people playing stupid games win stupid prizes!

My question is this. I am driving my car and want to make a left hand turn onto University Ave. to go east at an intersection that does not have traffic lights. I look to the left, then to the right and proceed to attempt to cross University Ave. Unfortunately I did not see the west bound motorcycle that was driving at the proper speed that has now crashed into the front of my car, the driver fly’s over his handle bars and is killed when he hits the pavement. Naturally I’m guilty as I pulled out in front of the motorcyclist who did have the right of way. Homicide by the negligent use of a motor vehicle in the State of Wisconsin carries a sentence of up to 10 years in prison and $25,000 in fines.

But let’s say I am driving my car and want to make a left turn onto University Ave. to go east at an intersection that does not have traffic lights. I look to the left, then to the right and proceed to attempt to cross University Ave. Unfortunately I did not see the west bound motorcycle that has now crashed into the front of my car, the driver fly’s over his handle bars and is killed when he hits the pavement.

But this time other motorists say that the driver of the motorcycle was doing 80 mph, weaving in and out of traffic, using the bus lane and passed a truck going west at almost 100 mph and then struck the front of my car. Would I be totally at fault or would the motorcyclist bear some responsibility for his own demise?

Point is that Daunte Wright was in large part responsible for his own demise. He made the decision to fight the police and try to get away. How would the police know that he did or did not have a gun in the car that he was going for when he was shot? Especially when he had a prior record of using a gun to intimidate a person in the past.

You plays the game, you takes your chances!

I hear a lot of people say that Potter shouldn’t have been a cop based on this one incident.

    I’m conflicted.

Yes, it was negligence on her part, and her error tragically caused someone’s life. Plus she’s a veteran cop? Makes you wonder how something like this could happen.

Yet I also think that cops are working in an extremely hostile environment and are on extra heightened alert. Was she burned out, working a double shift, frazzled? I guess I’d like these answers before forming a conclusion.

    Double standards in this country:

Officer Potter’s name and face were plastered all over the news. I read that demonstrators arrived at her home, causing her to flea. She’s already been found guilty by the media and has been charged with manslaughter.

Yet we still don’t know all the specifics about the cop who shot Ashley Babbitt. He’s been cleared an we don’t even know his name.

I’m fine with protecting the identify of the officer involved, but why do these two situations differ so much in protocol? Rhetorical.

Forgive me for speaking an inconvenient truth, … but in the grand scheme of things, Daunte Wright was cannon fodder. Nothing more and nothing less. He and he alone was responsible for the disastrous poor choices he made in his life right up to the one he made that ended it. There’s no denying he was a victim: a victim of the American Left. Proglibocrats don’t really give a red rat’s arse about Daunte Wright, so long as they can use his corpse as yet another weapon with which to advance their lying narrative that everyone’s racist, however, most regular, normal Americans really aren’t. We don’t think any more about the color of one’s epidermis than the color of the carpet on which we’re standing. We’ve learned to live MLK’s dream and judge one another on the content of our character. Too bad the race-baiting Lefties don’t.

I think that the lyrics to theTemptations song “Papa was a Rolling Stone” say’s it better than I ever could in regard to many of the shootings of black men in America today.
    https://genius.com/The-temptations-papa-was-a-rollin-stone-lyrics

    From the song:

    “[Verse 1: Dennis Edwards]
It was the third of September
That day I’ll always remember, yes I will
‘Cause that was the day, that my daddy died
I never got a chance to see him
Never heard nothin’ but bad things about him
Momma I’m depending on you, to tell me the truth
Momma just hung her head and said, son

    [Chorus]
    (Papa was a rolling stone)
(Wherever he laid his hat was his home)
(And when he died) all he left us was (alone)
(Papa was a rolling stone) my son, yeah
(Wherever he laid his hat was his home)
(And when he died) all he left us was (alone)
    Well, well

[Verse 2: Dennis Edwards, Melvin Williams and Richard Street]
    Hey momma
Is it true what they say that papa never worked a day, in his life
And momma, some bad talk goin’ round town
Sayin’ that papa had three outside children
And another wife, and that ain’t right
I heard them talking papa doing some store front preachin’
Talking about saving souls and all the time leechin’
Dealing in dirt, and stealing in the name of the Lord
Momma just hung her head and said

    [Chorus]
(Papa was a rolling stone) my son
(Wherever he laid his hat was his home)
(And when he died) all he left us was (alone) hey
(Papa was a rolling stone) dadgummit
(Wherever he laid his hat was his home)
(And when he died) all he left us was (alone)
    Uhh!

[Verse 3: Damon Harris and Richard Street]
    Hey momma
I heard papa called himself a jack of all trades
Tell me, is that what sent papa to an early grave?
Folks say papa would beg, borrow, steal
    To pay his bills
    Hey momma
Folks say papa never was much on thinking
Spent most of his time chasing women and drinking
Momma I’m depending on you, to tell me the truth
Momma looked up with a tear in her eye and said, son

    [Chorus]
(Papa was a rolling stone) well well well well
(Wherever he laid his hat was his home) hey yeah huh
(And when he died) all he left us was alone lone lone lone alone
(Papa was a rolling stone) huh huh huh huh huh huh
(Wherever he laid his hat was his home) hey yeah
(And when he died) all he left us was alone
    I say yeah

    [Hook]
(Papa was a rolling stone) yes he was
(Wherever he laid his hat was his home) huh huh huh
(And when he died) all he left us was alone
    My daddy was
(Papa was a rolling stone) yes he was hey yeah
(Wherever he laid his hat was his home)

    [Outro]
    Ahhhh ha ha”

Sad, so sad this is what represents black culture of today. Even the co-founder of Black Lives Matter, Patrisse Khan-Cullors has gotten in on the act. According to the New York Post, hardly a conservative rag, Patrisse has gone on a real estate buying binge with all the new found wealth she has acquired. https://nypost.com/2021/04/10/inside-blm-co-founder-patrisse-khan-cullors-real-estate-buying-binge/

Kind of like some of those televangelists. You know the type. Jumpin for Jesus but stealing in the name of the Lord.

My, My, how the game never really changes, just the players, still the same game.
