Our struggle against the Left’s cancel culture, Day #2

The intolerance of the political Left

Tuesday 10-20-20 we related our neighborhood war against liberal-progressive-socialist censorship. An enemy of free speech is vandalizing Trump for President signs at an intersection in beautiful Orchard Ridge neighborhood. It is of a piece, albeit on a smaller scale, with the smash and burn employed by Antifa, BLM, and Freedom Inc.

First a Trump for President yard sign, taken down. Another message to replace it was spray painted black. A third sign was attempted, reading “Stop the looting, shooting, and carnage! Vote Trump!” It, too had been spray painted over.

None of these signs are the work of the Werkes but, as someone who made his living off the First Amendment, the heads groundskeeper hereabouts posted his own sign under the censored sign. It suggested the “Gutless Wonder” should take his spray can back down to boarded-up State Street where his self-righteous cancel culture would be more welcome.

This Wednesday morning 10-21-20, that, too, had been defaced. Like Rocky Balboa, our anonymous Trump supporter keeps getting up off the mat. Above all the spray paint he stuck a Trump/Pence bumper sticker.

Blaska’s Bottom Line: A foretaste of the totalitarianism to come, we fear.

Are YOU intimidated by the Left?

How could ANYONE be intimidated by a (bowel) movement made up of addlepates idiotic enough to believe that JuicSAY Smollett was not only innocent but also cluelessly displayed the positively CRIPPLING IMBECILITY that he would walk?

On a positive note, pushback against the leftist propaganda has started to bloom in the ravaged downtown: some brave soul(s) spraypainted “R.I.P. Hans C. Heg, Hero” on one of the walls of Overture Center (the one facing the library). Also see “Resist BLM Cult” on one of the boarded-up windows of the State Office Building facing E. Washington Ave. (This one is partially defaced but still legible.) Dialogue is always bettr than monologue.

Dylan Brogan writes good honest articles on newsworthy subjects. This ain’t one o’ them… Why is this tiny percentage of graffiti (it’s actually more the application of adhesive) so world-shaking?

“A sign in support of the Black Lives Matter movement was also damaged” and “Shales says the sign was… vandalized: a comma was scrawled in permanent marker in between “Stop killing” and “Black people.” A comma = damaged and vandalism. As WashCo replies on that site, some further irony here

That well-placed comma made my day! If I were still teaching, I’d use it as an example of the power of proper punctuation to turn a hollow slogan into a statement of truth.

Did anyone see, as I did, tons of “Essential” workers installing NEW Fiber network cables through-out their neighborhoods over the last several “lock-down” months ? ! WTF is this about ? I just receive a letter from my provider that they are “retiring” my equiptment ,and must come in to my home with new equiptment for FASTER, NEWER ,MORE “reliability” ?? Is that some kind of threat ? I sure as S*** did NOT ask for this . Sometimes I think “This IRRATIONAL rable of useful idiots can’t seriously be anything more than a fully staged distraction. Why do the police “stand-down” ? Why are they ALLOWED to paint a giant “defund the police” in front of Milwaukee CITY HALL ? !!

The fact that you seem to consistently NOT address the subject ,but CHANGE the subject , and slather over attention of responses, (What do you want, realy ?) By all means ,blather away. It appears it is an Achilles Heal for some, but beneficial to witness for most.

“Gg Mo (whatever that is) wrote; “NOT address the subject, but CHANGE the subject.” The article is about the defacement of yard signs. So far this merry band of posters have addressed; Kamala, paint-ball guns, trail-cams, Smollett, peckers on ZOOM, fiber network cables, your internet provider, logging off a plat on land. So; this led me to believe that “blather away” was an accepted behavior.

I understand. As far as “SIGNS” , some intend to Distract. I think this question is consistent in my org. comment. ” Why do the police “stand-down” ? Why are they ALLOWED to paint a giant “defund the police” in front of Milwaukee CITY HALL ? !!, and Madison CITY HALL . ALLOWED !” Whereas this, by you, “What’s really crazy is that we are letting educators in our state to teach our children Arabic Numerals. WTF.” is , what ? “Balderdash”, “poppycock” , B***sh** ? I go with the latter.

There is an older guy on Dawes St., which is on border of SASY and Eastmoreland neighborhoods that has probably 10 small yard Trump signs and several Trump flags on his property. I find the large “No More Bullshit” flag to be amusing and the guy is certainly being defiant giving the double whammy 🖕 🖕 to the bothered neighbors while exercising his first amendment rights. A family member who lives around the corner recalls the guys sidewalk being vandalized with SJW/BLM phrases and so on. I’m not sure how many signs have been replaced, but the signs/flags have endured for what seems like over a year now. Pretty amazing albeit the neighborhood isn’t quite extreme left compared to other places in this city. It appears this old East Sider isn’t intimidated either.

Invest in a quality paint-ball rifle and prepare to lose some sleep. The pure satisfaction would be well worth sacrificing some Zzzzzzzz but if somehow apprehended just say you really, actually, for sure, sympathize with BLM and Antifa.

Use a trail-cam – (just to see who it is). Either conceal it, make it inaccessible, or set up a visible “dummy” one (they never look for a second cam). We use them all the time on our logging trails for trespassers.
