Bari Weiss quits New York Times after bullying by colleagues over views: ‘They have called me a Nazi and a racist’

New York Times opinion columnist and editor Bari Weiss announced Tuesday she leaving the Gray Lady, saying she was bullied by colleagues, weeks after declaring there was a “civil war” inside the paper.

The paper of record is, more and more, the record of those living in a distant galaxy, one whose concerns are profoundly removed from the lives of most people. This is a galaxy in which, to choose just a few recent examples, the Soviet space program is lauded for its “diversity”; the doxxing of teenagers in the name of justice is condoned; and the worst caste systems in human history includes the United States alongside Nazi Germany.

“Instead, a new consensus has emerged in the press, but perhaps especially at this paper: that truth isn’t a process of collective discovery, but an orthodoxy already known to an enlightened few whose job is to inform everyone else,” Weiss wrote in her resignation letter.

    The kicker? She’s Jewish.

The REAL everLUVin’ kill shot/coup de grâce:

“(A) new consensus has emerged in the press, but perhaps especially at THIS PAPER: that TRUTH ISN’T A PROCESS OF COLLECTIVE DISCOVERY, BUT AN ORTHODOXY ALREADY KNOWN TO AN ENLIGHTENED FEW WHOSE JOB IS TO INFORM EVERYONE ELSE” (bolds/caps/italics mine)

And just as surely as the sun rises in the East, the local MORON SAVANT will try to feebly deflect to “Because Trump.”

    GET LOST SOON, RPG!

NOBODY that far gone (sleeping through proceedings, half asleep when she’s awake, enfeebled fragility at its incompetent worst, ad infinitum, ad nauseum) is acceptable on the Highest Court in the known Universe.

    BUH BYE!!!!!!!

Now that doesn’t sound very Christian. Especially; from someone who was so upset about virus restrictions on church services.

This is happening more than we realize. I know a far left person who was called a racist and to pack his white privilege away for disagreeing about the damage and violence caused in Madison.

This is what one sees whenever liberals are unmasked: crypto-fascism, sanctimonious intolerance, a burning desire to punish, an absolute conviction of their own righteousness, a betrayal of any standards of professionalism in the name of a “higher good.” Here’s whistle-blowing at its best: she has no political agenda, no desire to put herself in the spotlight, no all-consuming ahatred of Trump, just a moral imperative to tell the truth, or as her ex-employer put it, all the news that’s fit to print. I suspect we’d find exactly the same level of ethical depravity if an ex-supporter of BLM decided to come clean about its inner workings.

If true, I suppose that means today’s radical left is a particularly virulent form.
