Sacrificed on the altar of identity politics

Retired MMSD educator Jo Day tells me:

Here is a screen shot of what is left of Rob Muller-Owens page at Whitehorse. So sad that he was made the scapegoat. He did nothing wrong and was penalized for DOING HIS JOB.

What's left of Mr Rob

His colleagues may appreciate Mr. Rob, the positive behavior coach at Whitehouse middle school. But school board president Mary Burke and MMSD superintendent Jennifer Cheatham threw the veteran teacher under the school bus, anyway, to curry favor with the Freedom Inc. crowd. And five of six school board candidates acquiesced.

Snap Quiz: Why would any positive behavior coach respond to an urgent call from a Madison classroom teacher? Why would they choose to end their careers against a school administration that does not have their back?

Can someone adequately explain why Madison’s Lefty Elite/Effete Educrats will embarrassingly Step-n-Fetchit for a small number of ill-kempt, loud, potty-mouthed morons like FreeDUMB Inc. and prioritize a destructive level of tolerance for a low number of miscreant, feral Thugs-in-Training at the expense of all the other students?

What’s the endgame; Gosh I’m Nice endorphin ramping White Lefty Guilt can’t be that suffocating, can it?

        @richard lesiak;

        “vote for soglin”

Will do. The Gotch has never been one to vote for someone because of their sexual preference or presence of gender-specific accoutremonts; fitness for the position is the only box that needs checking.

FWIW, the lovely and long suffering Mrs. Gotch did so in early voting today.

“he wants to keep cops in the schools.”

First of all, they’re School Resource Officers, and I couldn’t agree more.

And you’ll find a common thread uniting the people that want them out:
*they’re either ill-kempt, loud, potty-mouthed moron POS parents that believe taxpayers should be responsible for raising their POS miscreant Thugs-in-Training; wonder where they got that idea…?

*OR they’re White Lefty Guilt soaked Madison Lefties that would seriously $#!T themselves were their non-gender-specific purple-haired progeny to bring any Thug-in-Training to a Guess Who’s Coming To Dinner (a GREAT flick, if you haven’t seen it) event

Because the left has a natural affinity for the stupid, lazy, violent and mentally ill. You’ll note amongst all the hand wringing and self flagellation over this incident something missing. What’s missing is any concern for the other students who are have this feral child inflicted upon them over the course of the school year. One thing common to many leftist positions is the attitude that no burden is too much to bear for the average schmoe to bear in the interests of their menagerie of defectives.

Very good point. And it suggests a broader idea, to me anyway. The concern for this out-of-control child is based partly on an extreme romantic glorification of the autonomous individual. At all cost, protect HER right to express her anger or whatever. In celebrating and protecting individual autonomy, however, the power of the state (in the form of this school board) must be exercised to impose on the autonomy of all the other children and the teachers. Thus does anarchy morph smoothly into tyranny.

Interesting, my interpretation would be nearly the opposite. I would attribute it to a belief in lack of agency of individuals outside the white liberal college educated sphere. People within that sphere tend to operate as if they are the central characters in a morality play, and those outside are simply ciphers, who only exist in relation to them and to illuminate some aspect of the narrative. Note the framing of issue at hand. We have bad (callous, oppressive, brutish) contrasted against good (educated, virtuous, woke), both which are seen as agents directing the actions of those without agency. In other words, the child’s behavior is not the result of bad parenting, dysfunctional social norms, and that child’s character. It’s the actions of an evil part of society operating on that child, family, and community.

Poetic justice begs the scenario in which the Cheatham-Burke contingent is accosted by their Frankenstein monster creatures, and have their calls for assistance to Mr. Rob go unheeded. Of course, the Mr. Robs of the world have too much character and decency to do nothing.

Now’s your chance to make a splash at the end of the campaign, Dave. Organize and lead a sit-in at Cheatham’s office demanding the reinstatement of Mr. Muller-Owens. (Throw in a march up State Street for good measure.) Use lefty’s favorite tactics against Madison’s progressive-fascist establishment. I’d eagerly join in.

A puppy stops whining when it grows up…

A MMSD first grade teacher is explaining to her class that she is a Lefty and how nice it is that a new Lefty Governor has taken office. She asks her students to raise their hands if they, too, are Lefties and support the Reverend Fred Phelps LOOKALIKE Ichabod Evers.

Everyone in class raises their hands except one little girl. “Mary,” says the teacher with surprise, “why didn’t you raise your hand?” Because I’m not a Lefty,” says Mary.

“Well, what are you?” asks the teacher. “I’m a Righty and proud of it,” replies the little girl. The teacher cannot believe her ears. “My goodness, Mary, why are you a Righty?”

“Well, my momma and papa are Righties, so I’m a Righty, too.”

“Well,” says the teacher in an annoyed tone, “that’s no reason for you to be a Righty. You don’t always have to be like your parents. What if your momma was a criminal and your papa was a criminal, too, what would you be then?”

Mary smiled. “Then we’d be Lefties.”

Another highfrakin’larious effort by Lefty to push White Lefties as something they’re not.

The AP tries to push “Beto” O’Rourke as speaking in his NATIVE Spanish; hilarity ensues.

EL PASO, Texas (AP) — In a story March 31 about a Beto O’Rourke campaign rally, THE AP REPORTED ERRONEOUSLY that O’Rourke spoke to a rally in his native Spanish. O’Rourke_is_Not_A_Native_Spanish_Speaker. (bolds/caps mine)

    *candidates that are groping pervs,
*candidates proven by how many Gosh I’m Nice boxes they check off,
*only growing their voting bloc with the promise of more More MORE high quality/quantity free $#!T,
