Corey Ruiz automaton zone, that is.
What kind of heartless bastid would plant a yard sign in support of Madison police at the intersection of Williamson and Jenifer Streets just seven blocks from the anti-cop Corey Ruiz Autonomous Zone? All we know is the triggering sign wasn’t there when we arrived this Sunday morning and there it was as we drove away. (Good luck, little sign!)

(We knew Dick Wagner — good man)
We could not let this chapter of Madison history pass into Stu Levitan’s history books without visiting the scene of the on-going crime against an ordered society. We asked the nearest social justice warrior we saw for permission to record. We were generally respectful, mainly due to a well honed sense of self preservation. That ends with this blogge!
→ “The Woke Bloke” rags on Mayor Satya as “a gay racist who lets the right-wing do her dirty work” for not dispatching police to prevent a “racist right-wing commentator” (Not Blaska, apparently) from recording the CRAZ. “Where was your security to keep her out?” Woke Bloke asks. 😜 We were told “The Community” could police itself.
→ “These two white people, they brought guns.” Podcaster Karlyn Borysenko brought protection as she promised after alleging harassment on previous attempts to record.
These photographs were taken around 10:30 a.m. Sunday 08-02-2026 the day after a much-needed 3 inches of rain had precipitated over the Experimental Work Farm.
The fix is in
Corey Ruiz wielded his knife just in time to save the Independent Police Monitor and its Police Civilian Oversight Board. UPDATE: Item #81 on the Common Council agenda for Tuesday 08-04-26 has been withdrawn at the request of the sponsors. “No action can be taken since the file lacks a sponsor.” The meeting is on-line, only, because the mayor and alders know the social justice warriors they’ve coddled for years will take over the chamber.
Earlier in the meeting, Council President Sabrina Madison will talk about the public reaction up to all this. Read (if you dare) all five tranches of public comment — the first of which, alone, contained (best I could determine) 88 comments from unique individuals (not counting repeats) — all but 13 in favor of OIM from the usual suspects (the Royko Maurers etc.). But also a couple from Blaska and his ilk.
Register here if you wish to comment.
Blaska’s Bottom Line: At least there’s no move (that we can find) of alders ponying up for Aeiramique Glass’s demand for a million-dollar budget (2 ½ times its current take). So far.
