Madison public schools are disproportionately stupid

Racists blame the teachers!

Madison’s public schools have a “coordinator for progressive discipline.” Things we never knew, thanks to Chris Rickert, writing for our favorite local morning newspaper. Yes, you with your hand up in the back: Isn’t “Progressive discipline” like saying “peaceful war”? (George Orwell, report to the principal’s office.)

In the 10 years since Jennifer Cheatham cursed Madison students with her race-obsessed Behavior Education Plan, “the district hasn’t been able to reduce the ‘stubborn disproportionalities” of black students representing 62% of the students tossed out of school despite comprising 23% of enrollment.

If there is anything a Woke educrat hates (the list is long), it is stubborn disproportionalities — the theory being that if there are five roosters and five hens, each should produce the same amount of eggs.

School years come and go; former Supt. Cheatham’s BEP keeps on flailing and failing. The same 62% of all suspended students were black back in the 2017-18 school year, too.

It gets worse

The faceless bureaucrats at the Werkes combed through MMSD data as reported to the WI Department of Public Instruction. We looked at total disciplinary procedures — not just suspensions. Took the number of disciplines by race as a percentage of that cohort’s total K through 12 enrollment. In the 2016-17 school year — the second year of Cheatham’s Behavior Education Plan — the rate of disciplinary actions for black students amounted to 26%. (A single student could account for multiple disciplines.) Has the BEP reduced stubborn racial disproportionality? Far from it! In the 2023-24 school year (the most recent that DPI reports) that figure had jumped to over 40 percent! All the while, the needle barely moved among white students, never surpassing 3 percent.

Rather than admit defeat, the Madison Metropolitan School District vows to double down on failure. Now THAT is stubborn! MMSD also has something called “student engagement coordinators.” The one at Leopold elementary remains dedicated to EQUITY. He’s meeting with teachers to address bias and “disrupt systems and mindsets that led to inequities,” Rickert reports. Teachers, lock your doors at his iniquitous approach!

Ms. Muldrow

But the racial hall monitor has the support of Madison’s Woke school board. Its former president, Ali Muldrow, again plays her race flash cards, which must be by this time hopelessly frayed, faded, and rancid. Rickert writes:

Board member Ali Muldrow suggested during the 12-8-25 meeting that teachers who single out children of color are responsible for the disparities.

Blaska’s Bottom Line: That’s it, Ms. Muldrow: Blame the teacher for eating your homework!

Think maybe those who are disciplined need it the most?

(regardless of race)

Tragic, RAYcist break in to district offices and theft of test scores in 3-2-1.

    From Cheatham’s Harvard bio:

“For over six years, she served as the superintendent of the Madison Metropolitan School District. During her tenure, she and her team established strong routines for continuous improvement at every level of the school system, strengthened the district’s core instructional program K-12, improved the district’s approach to family partnership which included design of their local approach to community schools, expanded options for post-secondary success with a focus on student-centered design, strengthened hiring and induction systems with a focus on diversity, and established powerful one-of-a-kind partnerships with a focus on research and innovation.”

The reality: Her tenure and aftermath at MMSD has been a boon to voucher schools.

Apparently all you need to land a spot on the Harvard faculty is a record of failure laced with enough bureaucratic jibberish to satisfy the hiring committee. Something tells me the Harvard Law School is already perusing Hannah Dugan’s resume. I’m surprised Madison’s professional witch hunters haven’t forced Chris Rickert into the oblivion reserved for anyone who doesn’t toe the progressive lie–sorry, line.

Yeah, that’s it, Gary! Harvard be diggin’ Dugan! She knows the secret passageway out of court for all opposed minorities! Her resume goes to the top of the pile!
