A chronically Woke publication called Madison365 turns the bullhorn over to Brandi Grayson, who panders to its progressive audience with de rigueur accusations of racism most foul. Her beef? Some politically incorrect souls would like an up-close look at how she spends the $20 million+ Dane County taxpayers have shoveled out to her NGO, Urban Triage, since 2020. Pulling down a salary of $292,235 a year, Brandi Grayson plays the victim card.
Urban Triage CEO Brandi Grayson and other Black women in Madison say they have been targeted in a campaign of harassment from a group of white, mostly unelected men.
Grayson, former Dane County Supervisor Dana Pellebon, and east-side Alder Sabrina Madison told Madison365 that former Madison Common Council member and recent Common Council candidate Nino Amato, current Dane County Supervisor Jeff Weigand, and Madison resident Sean Burke have engaged in targeted harassment, racism, and “dangerous” behavior towards women of color in particular, and have worked to undermine the work of Urban Triage and discredit Grayson personally.
The “dangerous behavior” is alleged but never explained, unless it amounts to one of the men “yelling and screaming.” (Not that our Brandi knows what that’s all about.) Madison365 reports that Grayson explored slander charges against the three.
“I have called nonprofit attorneys, defamation attorneys, civil rights attorneys. No one wants to touch this,” Grayson said.
In progressive Madison? Maybe because there is no case? Might the reason the Dane County Board won’t audit Urban Triage be not racism but (cue the Church Lady): Reverse racism? We ask, you decide.

Wi State Urinal’s editorial page is a joke. It would make William T. Evjue proud.
Brandi “Race Baiter” Grayson is “The Teflon Don” of Madison.
They won’t allow an audit for the same reason they don’t want body cams: it would blow up the narrative.
Any non-profit that expends $750,000 or more of government funds, is required to have an independent audit by a qualified CPA. It is not optional.
If Wisconsin had true leaders both in the Legislature and in the Governors Mansion, an in depth, comprehensive audit would be mandated by an independent outside auditing firm before another dime of taxpayer funds filled the coffers of Urban Triage (and preferably ALL NGO’s).
All agencies/departments in all government need to be audited on a regular basis including who they are giving money to. Everyone forgets it is the taxpayers money that the government takes from them.
Who has the courage to call them on it? No one in Dane County.
