The race is on

for Dane County executive!

We have a candidate for Dane County executive who won’t describe inmates of the Dane County Jail as “residents.” Who will fix the roads and put a leash on the tax man. Who will question county government’s expensive preoccupation with diversity, equity, and inclusion. Who questions why criminals who keep jumping bail keep getting more bail. Who wonders why racial hoaxer Althea Bernstein, for instance, was never prosecuted for lying to law enforcement about “typical Wisconsin frat boys.”

In other words, no more business as usual!

That candidate is Stephen Ratzlaff, age 53, from DeForest.

Stephen is challenging political insider Melissa Agard, a Democrat in the State Senate who was just elected to the county job last November. That’s right, November’s was a special election to fill the well timed vacancy created for her by Joe Parisi. The nonpartisan election on April 1 is the regular election for county executive. It’s a four-year term.

Ms. Agard is heavy into the teachers’ union and legalizing weed. Is endorsed by the government employees union and Planned Parenthood. In the legislature, she voted against requiring judges to consider a defendant’s risk to public safety and past criminal record when setting bail.

Stephen Ratzlaff is employed in retail, is certified as an EMT, and has twice run for State Assembly as an independent. Married with two children.

Blaska’s Bottom Line: We were impressed when we met with Stephen recently. He is a high wattage, can-do kind of guy. Fills the room. Seems to be having fun. Irreverent sense of humor. Doesn’t speak Madison-ese. Will bring it.

Is Dane County ready for a change?

We’re in the midst of a SEA CHANGE; Kacklin’ Kamala, Tampon Timmy AWOLz, Dementia JoKe, and most of the Squaddies have been summarily pasted, Affirmative Action and Didn’t Earn It are dying the painful deaths they so richly deserve.

    It gets better:

Popular Vote + Electoral College = White House.

    White House + Senate + House + SCOTUS appointments = M_A_N_D_A_T_E!

Despicable Lefty is beating a hasty retreat after being b!tchslapped into the cheap seats by the fact-based Reality!

The word you are looking for is “quixotic”.

There is still a long way to go before things hit rock bottom in Dane County. When it happens it will be a phase change and moderate liberals will suddenly be viable again.

This could happen sooner than I think if Elon and Vivek have their way.

I hope he has a strong backbone. If he gets elected he will face a county board with maybe one supporter.
