He loves only gold

Thanks to their plastic decoder rings, platinum subscribers know that the Head Groundskeeper hereabouts regards identity politics as America’s dry rot. On the other hand, corruption, like the poor and Nancy Pelosi, has always been with us. In Adam’s fall we sinned all, et cetera.

Was a time when a politician caught with his greasy paws in the cookie jar would hire Roy Cohn or F. Lee Bailey. Now they claim persecuted minority status. So it was that U.S. Senator Robert Menendez, D-New Jersey, could bleat:

Inquiring minds want to know, is prison “anywhere”? Nonetheless, we are impressed that the senator takes gold bullion, not PayPal. Hedge against inflation. That’s our cue to announce that Blaska is open for business. Yes, we’re on the take! At least a dozen of our encounters insists we not use their names in this here blogge. So far, we’ve been obliging their need for anonymity, gratis. That ends today. Look for our rate sheet soon.

The mayor of Dallas TX has switched parties; he’s now a Republican — the only Deplorable among our 10 largest cities. More to come? Mayor Eric Johnson stated:

“Too often, local tax dollars are spent on policies that exacerbate homelessness, coddle criminals, and make it harder for ordinary people to make a living. And too many Democrats insist on virtue signaling.

Mayor Johnson identifies as black

Even the New York Times notices — “Most strikingly, much of the debate over incoming migrants is happening not in swing states or battleground suburban counties but in some of the most diverse — and deeply blue — corners of the country.”

Use your decoder ring: When the NY Times says blue states are “debating” “incoming migrants,” it means folks in New York City and other blue cities are hopping mad. Yes, the NY Times cannot bring itself to write “illegal” conjoined with “migrants.”

What has U.S. Rep. Glenn Grothman been saying all along? “Children fare better when they grow up with both parents,” the book, The Two-Parent Privilege, confirms. Not only that, but married people are happier!” says The Atlantic. (Must shove that under the nose of the Lovely Lisa.)

Packers were down 17-3 in the fourth quarter when Blaska decided game over, time to take his first bicycle ride of the season. You’re welcome. Leaving the television in a close game so that the Packers, Bucks, Brewers, Badgers can find victory — that is our special power. What is it worth that the Groundskeeper remove his hex? One gold bar? As Mad magazine used to say: “Cheap!”

Blaska’s Bottom Line: Bicycle ride was great. Got to get out more.

Sen. Menendez, (D-Large Pockets) loves not only gold, but Federal Reserve Notes.

He should have taken all the gold and had a toilet built. Then everyone would say he’s a stable genius.

Santos is defending him and that’s good enough for me.

When a Lefty Hispanic gets their t!t in a ringer, they slobber endlessly that they’re a minority.

When you’re George Zimmerman, you’re a White Hispanic.

And Menendez is Cuban; when’s the last time you heard a Cuban refer to themselves as Hispanic, or anything other than Cuban or Cuban-American?

Ah Lefty; so MUCH hypocrisy, so little time!

Once (READ: IF!) they get past this Alan Williams FUBAR, Blaska should expect a call from Halas Hall: They’ll be interested in retaining him to ride his bike on the following dates at the listed times:

      Gotch,
The Bears are doing some kind of aimless shuffle, but it’s not nearly of Super Bowl caliber.

Heh! Can you even imagine being a (snort!) fan? Everyone who can fog a mirror is rippin’ ’em a new one.

And why not? They’re a FIVE ALARM DUMPSTER FIRE, am I right?

Anywho, it’s almost too much to take.

Anyone catch the midgets of the midway score?

    Wait a minute.

Not much to catch @41-10, am I right? Their only touchdown was a Mercy Rule Gimmee to keep their laughably pathetic fan base from whimpering inconsolably.

    It gets worse:

The chicago bares Are THE_WORST_TEAM_IN_THE_NFL Right Now!

    And worse yet:

Chicago Sun-Times beat writer Mark Potash grades the Bi-Polar bares with a never before STRAIGHT F’s!

Chicago native, Northwestern alum, and (former?) midgets of the midway fan ESPN/PTI’s Michael Wilbon:

“They have the worst offense in the NFL, they have the worst defense in the NFL, they have coaching problems, they have front office problems, they have a Justin Fields problem

C’mon Wilbon, any area in which they have NO PROBLEMS?

    LOSING GAMES…13 straight!

Despicably lyin’ Lefty Menendez the Mendacious: “I have withdrawn thousands of dollars in cash from my personal savings account, what I have kept for emergencies and because of the history of my family facing confiscation in Cuba,”

    Confiscation…in Cuba…prior to 01/01/1959?

    Not exactly.

He isn’t even the immigrant he claims to be; from his wiki page:

“Menendez was born on January 1, 1954, in New York City to Cuban immigrants who had left Cuba a few months earlier, in 1953. His father, Mario Menéndez, was a carpenter, and his mother, Evangelina, was a seamstress. The family subsequently moved to New Jersey, where he grew up in an apartment in Union City.”

Who does he think he is, despicable lyin’ Lefty Beto O’Rourke…?

It has always been interesting to me how many Washington politicians who get elected and don’t have much wealth and when they leave later have accumulated millions. Both parties seem to do it. It reminds me of the story about LBJ that went to Washington with little money and when he left was a millionaire. I guess being a Washington politician can be a great employment opportunity.

Speaking of chronic criminals, how about the incandescent stupidity of trump and his campaign yapper Steven Cheung, who posted on X (formerly known as Twitter) that trump had purchased a Glock at a gun store in SC. Which would have been bad news for both trump, as it is a felony to purchase a firearm if under a criminal indictment, and to falsify ATF paperwork, and the gun shop owners to knowingly sell said Glock to someone they knew to have falsified the paperwork. But Cheung backtracked and admitted he lied to the public yet again. All is forgiven in trumpworld. I’m surprised nobody picked up on this.
