Is GOP presidential race Breaking Bad?
Does Trump show for the debate Wednesday in Milwaukee?
Does he get more eyeballs if he does Tucker, instead? Or do more watch Chris Christie for the prosecution?
Does Trump buzz downtown Milwaukee in his private jet like he did the Iowa State Fair?
How many will protest outside FiServe Forum in Milwaukee? How many of them will be Trump supporters versus Antifa/FBI? Do they do so “peacefully and patriotically”?
What’s Ben Wikler got up his sleeve?
The National Weather Service predicts temperatures of 97° F on Wednesday 08-23-23 and 99° F the next day here in Madison WI. What are your bets we top 100° F?
What will be closed this week due to the heat?
“In sustained heat, you lose your mind. The shimmering line between real and imagined becomes faintly drawn.”
— Terry Tempest Williams, New York Times
Do you agree with Dan Quayle that a mind is a terrible thing to lose? When did you lose yours?
Will Meryl Streep be nominated for her role in the Martin Short / Steve Martin whodunnit? Or is the mercy rule invoked?
How are YOU surviving the Hollywood actors’ strike?
The cartel leader always rings thrice

“Fox has retired the doorbell-like chime it used in the last debates after it sent some dogs into barking fits.” — NY Times.
They’re using a hotel dinger, like the kind that poor, wheelchair-bound Hector Salamanca used in Breaking Bad. (Actor portraying him died this month.)
What percentage of the questions Martha MacCallum and Bret Baier pose will be Trump? (Ol’ Sparky, our Eisenhower-era mainframe, predicts one-third.)
What wouldn’t you give for Hector Salamanca to moderate the debate? To signal the debate is over, he rings his bell three times before blowing up. (“He blew up real good!” — Billy Sol Hurok, aka John Candy on SCTV.)
Fulton County D.A., Fani “Willi’s focus … is not on the threats but rather on the lies. And when you read the list of Trump’s purported lies, they are absolutely incredible. His claims aren’t just false; they’re transparently, incandescently stupid. This was not a sophisticated effort to overturn the election. It was a shotgun blast of obvious falsehoods.”
— David French, attorney, veteran, and libertarian
If they were so obvious, why is Trump beating everyone like a rented mule? (Is it the parable of the sun and the wind? They bet they can make the man remove his coat. Wind blows and blows more indictments, man holds tighter ….)?
Blaska Bottom Line: Debate is scheduled for two hours beginning at 8 p.m. CST. How many times will we hear the T word (or “former president”)? Ol’ Sparky predicts #45 times! That, my RITO and RINO … acquaintances, is your drinking game!

Time to get out the Squire’s Ouyja board.
Will Pence send a cardboard cutout in his stead? And how would we know if he did?
There’s a hurricane approaching Milwaukee. Hurricane Vivek.
Are they going to move it to the marina to handle all the “listless vessels.” Are they going to have a second collection to help their brokeass b5rothers in Michigan.
“The National Weather Service predicts temperatures of 97° F on Wednesday 08-23-23 and 99° F the next day here in Madison WI. What are your bets we top 100° F? “
Won’t get that high on pristine Weber Lake in heavily wooded Anderson TWSP/Iron County or at The Gitch.
Worth mentioning: It was five (5) years ago today that the west side of Madison had that torrential rainfall (The Gotch’s 4″/10.16 cm rain gauge filled almost twice) and deadly flooding.
The Gotch
“The idea that hundreds, or even just dozens could keep it secret for four years, is ludicrous. Give it up.”
4 years is nothing. How long was Epstein Island a secret? Seems the guest list is still a secret…for how long? Hell we still don’t have all the JFK documents from 60 years ago. That of course does not prove there was election hijinx but damn stop being so naive.
The Island was never a secret in the sense that it was unknown. And the guest lists both on his plane and his Island were exposed years ago. Motivation has a lot to do with keeping a secret. Obviously, nobody will volunteer that they visited Little St. James, or killed JFK unless there was something in it for them, and in those cases it would have to be more than a little cash. You think a group of people can keep a massive conspiracy totally secret? It would have had to cover six states and hundreds of people. Who is being naive?
Look at the Hunter Biden laptop conspiracy…it’s not like any of those people that propigated it have come forward and confessed. Didn’t 50 experts sign off on it being Russian misinformation? How the hell have they keep that secret for so long?
Same with the lab leak conspiracy theory. Again, not saying it proves anything with the election but your “secret” theory proves nothing either.
Can you even prove your vote counted appropriately?
Our own Tim Lemonds at MMSD is another example. How long was his behavior kept secret? I just think you underestimate the “circle the wagons” mindset that groups have.
You are making my point. None of those “secrets” you cite remained secrets. Some longer than others but all were exposed and there were not nearly as many people nor as much motivation to tell. Who te hell cares about a n Mmsd spokesman being mean?
And by the way, I’m not claiming to “prove” anything. I’m appealing to logic human nature and common sense. The burden of “proof” lies with those making the wild eyed convoluted ridiculous machinations that require a Mission Impossible conspiracy that complete with soundtrack and special effects, covering several continents and six or seven state elections. That would be YOU.
Point of fact, I’m not and never have made a claim that there was any elections fraud. The DNC/FBI/media collaboration against Trump is the thing we all need to worry out.
That said, our elections are far from perfect. Can you prove your own vote counted appropriately? (You can’t).
Human nature you say? If a system can be cheated someone will try it.
Confirmation Bias is likely why DB mentioned you in the first place.
Common sense? That is long gone. Common sense would dictate we have a President not suffering from dementia. And he’s got over a year to go!
You probably spend too much time with smart people who have good values. Believe it or not there’s a whole other world out there. The pandemic should have taught you that.
Far from perfect is a long way from election fraud that would have produced an illegitimate result. Here’s the problem conservatives such as the Squire and myself. When other conservatives say election integrity is a concern, we would agree. But if we don’t buy the “steal” and criticize Trump for his role in Jan 6th, we are RINOs We are secretly pulling for Biden and Pelosi. And if there was not enough evidence to do something, GIVE It UP. Don’t want to talk about it, argue about it or even consider it a problem. NOT the subject if you care about winning the next election.
