From State Rep. James Edming, R-Glen Flora:

Blaska’s Bottom Line: UPDATE: We should point out that Melissa Agard is no run-of-the mill Democrat but leads her party in the Wisconsin State Senate, as Jessica McBride points out here.

Imperfect though they were, they fought for our freedoms and those include that of dissent. Doesn’t mean we can’t disagree with that speech!

How are YOU remembering?

This infusion of woke politics infuriated the hell out of me when I read it.

While the letter started out respectful, everything after that extinguished that respect.
To infuse her woke politics into a weekend that is supposed to remember the fallen, I find it totally disgusting and she should be called out.
This is the same person who continues to slam the other side of the aisle, but I don’t see her side of the aisle working across it.

    Apparently it’s all about her.

For one day a year I wish all Americans could remember their countrymen that gave their lives and physical and mental injuries without having to dive into politics.

She just couldn’t help herself. Great opening but had to dive headfirst into the grievance pool, and left no box unchecked.

I only know her from marijuana legalization efforts (which I support). Now I think it’ll take longer with her spearheading it. Not exactly winning hearts and minds with her blather.

This should not come as a surprise from a member of a party that will politicize mass shootings before the victims are even in the ground. And sometimes even before the victims’ families have been notified. Disgusting and shameful.

Nothing like “piggy backing her personal opinions and crusades” on top of a revered day of remembrance. Agard has assumed the mantle of 16th Senate District Jane Fonda, and I’m not Fonda Jane!

Let’s not make this about politics. Let us all remember those who served, especially those who gave their lives in order for the rest of us to be free.

After reading tRump’s heartwarming Memorial Day message I think it’s a stretch to throw stones at Ms. Agard.
