How dare you discipline my child!

No wonder the kid is screwed up

This is the culture America’s Left has cultivated. This is the school board Madison elected. These are the teachers who have been undermined. The students who have been short changed. Because the policies exalt victimhood and retreat from responsibility.  It’s bad enough when students misbehave.

Their parents are emboldened to assault teachers, their union says nothing, and Madison elects school board members who want police out of school. You had this coming. From today’s Madison Police incident log:

12/11/2019 – 8:40 AM
The MPD has probable cause to arrest the mother of a Madison elementary school student for battery to a school district employee following a morning assault inside Orchard Ridge Elementary School, 5602 Russett Rd. The mother was evidently unhappy with how her child was disciplined and came into the building demanding to speak with several staff members. She ended up yelling at and confronting one in a hallway.
The suspect pulled the female employee’s hair and punched her in the face. The mother was escorted out of the building and the MPD was contacted.
Will this mother be prosecuted? No, more likely the teacher will be second-guessed and her motives impugned. The Behavior Education Plan will be tweaked. Ali Muldrow and Ananda Mirilli will blame institutional this or that.

Parents voting with their feet

This 2019-20 school year, 708 more students left the district than entered through state Open Enrollment Plan. That’s 36 more than the previous school year. That exodus of students — all Madison school district residents —  will cost the district $6.4 million in state shared revenue.

Meanwhile, the school board is preparing a $315 million school spending referendum for next year? You think the parents of the students leaving the district are going to vote yes?

We can change course

Someone should step up and run for Madison Board of Education. Three seats are up. Three of the seven Madison Board of Education seats are up for the April 7, 2020, non-partisan Spring election. They are: Seats #2 Savion Castro, #6 Kate Toews, and #7 Nikki Vander Meulen.
Madison School Board candidates must submit 100 valid signatures (those residing in the school district). Nominating signatures and other forms are due 5 p.m. Tuesday, January 7. for Madison school board here and for Dane County supervisor here.

    Plus, this today….

“The Jefferson Middle School student accused of shooting another student with a BB gun on Dec. 3 previously threatened to shoot up the school and “kill everyone” inside during an alleged incident in September. According to Madison Metropolitan School District documents leaked to FOX47, the middle school student was involved in 25 incidents this school year prior to being suspended in December for striking another student with a BB gun on a bus route.”

See, it was only 25 incidents since, what, September? Why mess the kid up w/ consequences…

What the student did was a crime under Wisconsin law. Instead of having him arrested and prosecuted, the school decided it was best to place all the other students at risk rather than hurt the feels of the defective. I suspect this results from the intersection of two cancerous mindsets. The first is the leftist affinity for the violent and degenerate. The second is that of public educators. Who’s first loyalty is to dogma of their profession, and who’s second is to the education establishment.

They know if the little psychopaths they’re grooming actually kill a bunch of kids, like Parkland, they can wring their hands and shift the blame else where. Perhaps they can even milk the situation for more political clout and more money to nurture their little degenerates.

12 school districts in South Central Wisconsin asked voters to approve referenda on the (04/02/2019) ballots. In total, school officials asked voters to approve nearly $486 million.

    All but a trickle passed.

$486 million? Mercy me…The Gotch ain’t no math guy (struggles with English, too), but that’s nearly half a Billion…WITH A FREAKIN’ “B”!

    To wit:

Sun Prairie ($171 M), DeForest ($125 M) Milton ($60 M). Other municipalities within driving distance of Madison (Albany, Baraboo, Columbus, Cross Plains, Verona, etc.) are likewise preparing to be the recipient of the giant sucking sound fleeing the 77 Square Miles Surrounded By A Sea Of Reality.

    Now; why might THAT be?

Noah Cross (John Huston in the classic Chinatown) said: “Either you bring the water to L.A., or you bring L.A. to the water.”

    Is this any different?

The proliferation of thuggery described above is one consequence of the leftist educational ethos so prevalent in Madison and other redoubts of progressivism. The other is the less lethal but on the whole more annoying proliferation of children (thoroughly brainwashed by leftist ideology of their teachers–and often parents) taking on the role of moral abiters for a variety of issues, the most notable examples being David Hogg, teenage gun control activist and Greta Thunberg, teenage climate change activist. Trump just smacked her upside the head with a tweet (something her parents should have done long ago with their fists) suggesting anger management and advising her to “chill.” Haven’t check yet but I’m assuming the Lefties are reacting with howls of indignation and accusations of child abuse. They get almost as great a psycho-sexual thrill from being lectured to by a child (with Asperger’s yet!) as they do from being berated by a POC. Person of the Year or obnoxious, coddled little brat. You decide.

Some perspective: One Tommy Callaway smacked (goosed?) X-Chromosomal Unit/WSAV reporter Alex Bozarjian on the keester on live T.V. in Savannah, GA.

Callaway turned himself in and was released on a $1300 signature bond.

The kicker? Bozarjian has retained scumbag ambulance chaser extraordinaire Gloria Allred.

Though unavailable for comment, Bozarjian’s keester is expected to make a full recovery.
